Daehak-ro adult play, 20% couple discount: Suspicious PT Shop

This one's hot, hot, hot... 19+, or honestly more like 29+. I went to see an adult play and had so many questions before I went, so here's everything: content level, cast info, and my full review of this Daehak-ro theater recommendation.

Suspicious PT Shop showtimes and 80-minute runtime

Suspicious PT Shop runs Mon/Thu/Fri at 7pm, Sat and holidays at 3pm and 6pm, and Sundays at 3pm and 6pm (biweekly). Runtime is 80 minutes.

No shows Tuesday or Wednesday, and the Sunday 6pm slot only runs every other week, so keep that in mind.

Where is Nine Theater? Walking there from Hyehwa Station

The venue is Nine Theater on the Hyehwa Daehak-ro street. 📍B1, 30 Daehak-ro 8ga-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul — a 2-minute walk, 127m from Exit 1 of Hyehwa Station (Line 4) or 139m from Exit 2. (Across from Olive Young; Bongsamgyeopsal is on the ground floor, and the entrance is next to Jjokgalbi.)

Is there parking at Nine Theater?

No parking lot, unfortunately. It's very close to Hyehwa Station so I'd recommend public transit; if you must drive, use a nearby paid parking lot.

When the Suspicious PT Shop box office opens

You can pick up tickets from 1 hour before showtime. Entry starts 30 minutes before!

If you book through Naver it's assigned seating, so you don't need to rush there early. But if you're late you can't get in, so I'd still recommend arriving ahead of time.

Booking Suspicious PT Shop: which row is the best value?

You can book Suspicious PT Shop through Naver or Yanolja. Yanolja isn't assigned seating though, and it's on-site pickup plus an extra ₩1,000 fee, so I'd recommend booking through Naver.

What discounts does Suspicious PT Shop offer?

A-row is ₩99,000 with no discounts. From B-row on, you can get welfare/repeat-viewer/couple/group discounts. Among those, general seating C-row with the 20% couple discount comes to ₩55,200, which is great value — this is the seat I'd recommend most. Of course, the front rows do give you the most direct interaction and are great too.

There's a ticket booth toward the back of the basement level. The theater entrance is right next to it!

Since the play is set at a gym, there's exercise equipment displayed outside.

The seats at Nine Theater feel like really comfortable movie theater seats — possibly the most comfortable seats of any Daehak-ro play I've seen. It was a weekday and the place was still packed?! By showtime it was nearly full. If you want a good seat, I'd recommend booking in advance.

We watched from C10 and C11, and it was just right — not too intense, but still great! The A-row up front gets a lot of the actors' attention and questions, so that's the truly direct-interaction zone.

The stage is fairly wide, with the gym equipment visible up front and more space toward the back. Rather than constantly changing rooms, the show is really carried by the actors' performances.

I liked that the wait in the dark before it started wasn't long. The 80 minutes just flew by.

How explicit is Suspicious PT Shop?

Suspicious PT Shop is the sequel to Suspicious Hair Salon, and it might just be the highest content level you can see in Korea. It starts off mild and ramps up gradually, haha. For reference, the female actor's scenes are more intense than the male actor's.

It gets more intense than the photo above suggests... it's basically legal-Korean-adult-video-level. Honestly confusing at times whether it's an adult video or a play.

Who stars in Suspicious PT Shop?

The cast of Suspicious PT Shop are actual adult film actors. Every single one of them is hot, so you don't need to worry about the cast.

Actors Lee Su and Lee Chaedam. Lee Su is an adult-industry veteran, and Lee Chaedam has reportedly filmed over 100 works over more than 10 years. It's not every day you get to see actual adult actors up close, so watching them in a play felt surreal. Lee Su has a toned physique, and Chaedam has amazing curves.

There are other actors too, but personally Lee Su and Lee Chaedam's acting really stood out to me!

Suspicious PT Shop review: who to bring along

Honestly I was worried an adult play would be super awkward (?). But it played the 19+ scenes for laughs way more than I expected, and I actually liked that better! That said, I'd recommend going with a long-term partner, a spouse, or a close friend rather than someone you're just starting to date.

They toss condoms out into the audience like this, haha. People don't grab them so there are a lot left on the floor. Answer questions early on and you might get other little gifts too — the funnier your answer, the better, haha!!
