Haeundae OTT screening room booked for 3 hours: Copenhotel Ott Cinema

Out and about again today

📍Copenhotel Ott Cinema I was trying to figure out what to do for an evening date in Haeundae, and this time we went for something a bit different — a private indoor date at Copenhotel Ott Cinema :) It's a space where you can watch whatever OTT content you want on a big screen, and you can even play games like Nintendo, so it was great for the two of us to just hang out comfortably.

What time to arrive at Copenhotel Ott Cinema, and where to park in Haeundae

We visited as a couple on a weekday at 8pm, and rented the space exclusively for 3 hours! There's no dedicated parking support, so if you're driving you'll need to use a nearby paid parking lot. We parked nearby and walked over too!

How booking works: private rental plus corkage and gaming service

🎬 How to use the space We used the 3-hour private rental. There's a separate headcount check, and if you want to bring outside food you can add corkage, or if you want to play games you can add the gaming service. We added both corkage and the gaming service that day. Being able to bring in food we wanted to eat and enjoy everything from OTT shows to games in one space gave it a different charm from a regular movie theater.

Inside Copenhotel Ott Cinema: the room's mood and seating

🖤 Interior As soon as we walked in, I was surprised at how spacious it was — bigger than I expected. It was decorated overall in dark black tones, with a large sofa, tables, and several different types of seating.

But the real highlight was the cloud-shaped lighting on the ceiling! A soft blue glow came through it, making the atmosphere really pretty, and since the overall lighting was on the darker side, it was also great for focusing on the screen.

The sofa was roomy enough to lean back comfortably, and the space was kept clean, which I really liked. There was even a private restroom inside, so we never had to step out during our visit, which was convenient.

Watching Our Beloved Summer and The Great Escape on the big screen

📺 Enjoying OTT on a big screen What I liked most about Copenhotel Ott Cinema was definitely the big screen. The screen was large and the surrounding lighting was dim, so sitting on the sofa watching it, it really felt like we'd rented out our own movie theater!! Since it's a private cinema where you don't have to worry about anyone else, we could chat freely while watching, which was also nice.

That day we put on That Year We Were and watched Escape together too haha. Instead of just picking one movie, you can freely choose whatever content you feel like watching that day, so if you're a couple who loves OTT shows, an Ott Cinema date sounds like it'd be a lot of fun.

Nintendo games in the same 3-hour slot

🎮 Nintendo games too It wasn't just about watching content — being able to play games too was great! We added the gaming service and played Nintendo together.

Watching OTT, then playing a game in the middle, then going back to watching more, the 3 hours flew by way faster than expected haha. If just watching content feels like not quite enough, I'd recommend adding the gaming service too.

The snack corner, plus bread and yogurt ice cream brought in with corkage

🍿 Snacks & corkage On one side there was a really wide variety of snacks ready to go, like chips, popcorn, and cup noodles. The drinks fridge also had lots of soda options, so we could just grab a quick snack to munch on while watching.

We added the corkage option and brought in some bread and yogurt ice cream from outside! Bringing in whatever we felt like eating, putting on OTT on the big screen, and eating together made it feel a bit like hanging out comfortably at home, but with a different atmosphere — I really liked that :)

Final verdict: is Copenhotel Ott Cinema worth it for a Haeundae indoor date?

💬 Final thoughts When you want something a bit different from the usual movie theater or café date, Copenhotel Ott Cinema was a great place to try for an indoor Busan date. Watching whatever content we wanted on a big screen, playing Nintendo games, and even bringing in food we felt like eating — it made for a really full 3 hours.

What I liked most of all was that it wasn't a space shared with other people — we could spend the time comfortably just the two of us. Since it's an indoor space unaffected by weather, it'd also be great on rainy days or when it's too hot or too cold outside.
