I visited Hola Poke Seolleung Branch, a great salad spot by Seolleung Station. I eat poke in quite a few different places, and this one was seriously delicious! I’ve gained way too much weight lately, but I still wanted rice, so I came for poke to get health, flavor, and a filling meal all at once.

Poke calories and nutrition facts

Honestly, when I come for poke, I get curious about the calories. There is a calorie chart right on the wall in front of where you order. I do not usually worry much about calories, but since I was at a poke place, I took a look anyway haha.

Tuna sashimi poke has 561 calories, garlic shrimp poke 432, Super Protein poke 620, seafood poke 485, fresh salmon poke 545, steak poke 612, avocado poke 492, smoked duck poke 472, chicken breast poke 370, spicy chicken salmon poke 528, spicy chicken octopus poke 506, and fried tofu poke 406. Most are in the 400–600 range!! That includes the sauce. Chicken breast really is a cheat code calorie-wise hahaha.

There are calories for each topping too. If anything, just avoid the wasabi mayo sauce... haha. I was surprised that sriracha mayo was lower than expected, while yuzu soy sauce is basically at zero haha.

For sides, there is soup and spicy chicken salmon kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) haha. Salmon kkakdugi sounds amazing!! I wanted to try it! I’m curious haha.

Adding toppings to fresh salmon poke

After thinking it over, I got fresh salmon poke with extra tuna, plus smoked duck separately haha. I was hungry, so extra toppings were essential. Such a poke-place splurge!!

Solo seats and dining in

Inside, there are all kinds of solo seats and table seats! The solo seats even have phone stands. You can eat while watching YouTube or Netflix. Absolutely the best haha. Eating alone while watching a favorite video is genuinely healing. I arrived around 18:20, and there were plenty of seats haha.

Utensils and forks are self-service, with tissues and water cups ready, plus a water dispenser beside them. There are also standard sauces. I liked how clean the restaurant was.

Salmon, tuna, and smoked duck poke taste

Ta-da!! The poke arrived. With the extra toppings, it looked filling just sitting there. The smoked duck was served separately on the left, the poke was in the middle, and sriracha mayo was on the right.

This was the salmon poke I ordered, and there was definitely more salmon, the standard topping, than the extra tuna!! It really is best to choose your favorite as the standard topping. It came with chickpeas, seaweed, salmon, corn, tuna, vegetables, pineapple, rice, and more.

The duck was so cutely packed on its own!! Hahaha, it was delicious. Salty and warm, it was the perfect rice thief.

There were lots of toppings too, including corn and seaweed, and the rice had a really satisfying chew!! And the salmon quality was excellent. It was truly delicious and soft, so I definitely recommend the salmon topping haha. A total rice thief!! Salmon, tuna, and smoked duck made for a full, satisfying, healthy meal at Hola Poke by Seolleung. I recommend it if you are looking for a poke restaurant nearby.
