There's a new café in Jongno, Daegu! Otter Rabbit House, near Wolgwang Subyeon Park, has opened a second location in Jongno! Total European vibes, exactly my taste 💗 Here's my review of "Otter Rabbit House Jongno Branch" 😊

Otter Rabbit House, near Wolgwang Subyeon Park, opened a second location in Jongno!! (I'm the one who wanted to go but never made it because it's too far..) Right next to the back entrance of Manggyeonggwan Megabox is the brick building that's Otter Rabbit House Jongno Branch! 😊

My first thought seeing the exterior!! A café dripping with European aesthetic!💗 A café full of atmosphere tucked in a Jongno alley! 😊 There's no dedicated lot for the shop, so we parked right in front at the paid Manggyeonggwan parking lot.

A place with a striking European-style exterior!➰ Otter Rabbit House's first location is known for its bakery, and the second location in Jongno sells brunch 🙌🏻 (the cherry bingsu looks delicious too..🍒)

There's even a cute mirror-selfie spot at the entrance 🙌🏻 A place that's pure European aesthetic!➰ Feels like a perfect café for a visit on a day like this autumn one 💕

What's the interior atmosphere and seating like?

Once you step inside Otter Rabbit House, the wood-toned interior and warm lighting bring out that European feel completely 💗 So warm and cozy..💛

The interior isn't that spacious! A café with a cute, aesthetic-packed feel. The other side has a full window wall, so it's even prettier when natural light comes in?💕 If you love wood interiors, this is the European-style café in downtown Daegu!!😊

Here's the seating feel at Otter Rabbit House Jongno Branch! 🙌🏻 There are seven 2-person tables, one 4-person table, and one bar table. The spacing between tables wasn't wide.! Feels like it would be great for a date course💛

Menu board and how to order

To order, you enter your table number and then order via the kiosk, and they bring the menu to your seat!➰

This is Otter Rabbit House's drink menu! The signature drink menu items are the castella latte and the milkshake 🥤🥤 As for the seasonal menu, they had cherry bingsu🍒

Since it's a brunch café, they sell wine too! The bottle prices were surprisingly good value??

They also have a variety of brunch menu items ready, like steak, pasta, lasagna, and toast💕 Sounds great to enjoy brunch here on a nice day!

• Matcha latte (₩5,200)

We should go eat dinner too.. but we're a chubby couple, so!!🐽🐽 We ordered brunch properly too➰ The plating came out so pretty, I loved it!😊 (perfect for aesthetic Instagram shots)

Egg basil French toast

With so many brunch options, I agonized and ended up ordering the "egg basil French toast" 💚 When they brought it to the table, the visual was completely perfect! 💯

The French toast is piled high with basil💚 topped with a soft-boiled egg➰ and finished with fresh salad — such pretty plating on this toast 😊

Check out the video for the toast visuals!!😊 The toast is nice and thick, and cutting into the egg made the yolk flow out perfectly💛 The toast was so thick it was hard to cut!

If you like basil, I totally recommend the egg basil French toast!➰ There's basil pesto spread generously inside the toast too😊

Toast neatly cut by my boyfriend!💕 Eating it together with the salad veggies on the plate was such a perfect pairing?!🙌🏻 We didn't even take our time savoring it — just demolished this toast..➰

Castella latte

I ordered Otter Rabbit House's signature drink, the "castella latte"➰ You can choose between original and chocolate flavor for the castella latte😊 And you can also choose coffee or non-coffee!!

We chose original, non-coffee!! Fluffy castella crumbs are piled on top of the latte💛 First time seeing this menu item so I was full of curiosity🙌🏻

So much fluffy castella crumb piled on top!😉 If you like sweet drinks, I recommend this💗 Since there's a no-coffee option, it's a menu item you can pick without any worry🙌🏻

That familiar castella powder we all know is piled on generously. My boyfriend, who also knows the flavor, said it was delicious as he ate it➰ As a sweets lover myself, I was satisfied too💯

Matcha latte

That day I was craving a "matcha latte"!💗 So I ordered the matcha latte! I ordered it hoping for a strong matcha flavor🍵

You just mix the matcha settled at the bottom well before drinking!💚 The matcha latte's visuals passed the test right away!🙌🏻 The portion wasn't small either, so I was satisfied!🙌🏻

The best matcha latte I've had recently was Otter Rabbit House's matcha latte💚 Rich matcha flavor with just the right sweetness! (Personally I'm not a fan of matcha that's too bitter)

My boyfriend insisted on mixing it himself, stirring the matcha latte with great care.! The key part is that he ends up spilling some at the very end..💗
