My precious three-day vacation has finally, finally arrived! On day one, I raced to Magok with my dear co-parent to eat at a place with a Michelin 2-star pedigree 😉
A chef with Michelin 2-star experience, a great-vibe restaurant near Magoknaru — it's got so many titles that it always pops up first when you search for Magoknaru Station restaurants.
It's connected to the subway station, so once you arrive at Magoknaru Station the access is fantastic. Here's my review of Romaok Magok, the great-vibe restaurant at Magoknaru Station :)

Where is Romaok Magok, and what is the space like?
Romaok Magok is on the 3rd floor of LG Art Center Seoul and connects directly to Magoknaru Station, so access is excellent. This Magoknaru restaurant is a grand, special dining space that's consistently loved as a spot for Magok anniversaries and wedding invitation gatherings.
Located on the 3rd floor of LG Art Center Seoul, Romaok Magok is the epitome of upscale Italian dining from the moment you walk in — a space that makes a special day even brighter.

Romaok Magok boasts such gorgeous European-style interiors that it makes you doubt you're actually in Korea.
Reinterpreting the Colosseum and Roman arches, this Seoulbotanic Park-area restaurant has an exotic, uniquely upscale feel to the space — perfectly qualified as a Magok date spot.
In particular, the emotive, antique-style objects placed throughout make the space even more radiant and special 👏

What two people ordered at Romaok Magok, with prices
- ✔️Pine nut caprese salad ₩17,000
- ✔️Mushroom truffle cream pasta ₩26,000
- ✔️Napoli mare pomodoro pasta ₩27,000
The tasteful, emotive tableware already set at each table is one more detail that elevates the mood.
We started with the most popular salad at this Seoulbotanic Park-area Romaok Magok, the caprese, then ordered one tomato pasta and one cream pasta each 👏
The dishes arrived one by one at the table, and from the plating alone you could feel how much care went into every course.
Since these dishes come from the hands of an Italian Michelin 2-star chef, even the visuals are delicately composed.

With their distinctive sensibility, the dishes at this Magoknaru restaurant are perfect for a Magok date, an anniversary, or any special occasion.
On a happy, joyful day when you want to make memories with people you love, Romaok — capturing both atmosphere and taste — comes highly recommended 👏

Ciabatta pre-meal bread and herb-balsamic olive oil
This Seoulbotanic Park-area Romaok Magok serves a surprisingly generous ciabatta loaf per person with every food order.
Crispy outside, moist and soft inside — this ciabatta is genuinely delicious dipped in the accompanying olive oil 🥖
The olive oil is mixed with various herbs and balsamic sauce — even a small side sauce shows the care put into this place.

Pine nut caprese salad, 17,000 won
After debating between several salads, I went with Romaok's popular pine nut caprese salad — the nutty pine nuts scattered on top were the highlight!
Black tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, arugula, and soft snowflake-like cheese come together for a nutty, clean flavor that's outstanding.
With white balsamic sauce added for an extra layer of refined flavor, the pine nut caprese salad was a great appetite starter 🥗🥙

Mushroom truffle cream pasta, 26,000 won
With a name like that, it can't not be delicious — the mushroom truffle cream pasta pairs black truffle with mushroom cream sauce for a rich, deep savory flavor.
Thanks to the generous, thick mushroom cream sauce poured over the pasta, the deep, nutty truffle aroma fills the air the moment it's set on the table.
A textbook mezzi paccheri pasta — the sauce is soaked deep into the pasta, and grana padano cheese adds a salty note for an upscale spaghetti dish 👏

Napoli mare pomodoro pasta, 27,000 won
Offering a totally different appeal from the mushroom cream pasta, the Napoli mare pomodoro pasta is built on a red tomato sauce base 🍅
A seafood pasta with black tiger shrimp, cuttlefish, clams, and more, it's packed full of deep ocean flavor.
The clean, non-spicy tomato sauce aroma was striking, and combined with the savory seafood, Romaok's Napoli mare pomodoro was refreshing and clean.
Is Romaok Magok good for a Magok date or anniversary dinner?
From atmosphere to taste to plating, Romaok Magok delivered perfectly — the textbook definition of an Italian restaurant.
Thanks to its upscale, great-atmosphere dining space, I'd recommend it not just for a Magok date but for anniversaries and other special occasions.
If you want to spend a special time surrounded by delicious food and an emotive atmosphere, Romaok Magok comes recommended — review over 💪
