Hapjeong pizza restaurant, Caesar salad and Funghi pizza: Pizzeria O

I heard there was a really delicious wood-fired pizza spot near Hapjeong Station, so I visited Pizzeria O with friends. True to a wood-fired pizza place, the pizza was amazing and the pasta was incredibly good too!! The vibe was great and the prices reasonable, so this is a Hapjeong pizza spot I'd definitely recommend +_+

The vibe at Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station

The moment you step up to the storefront you can feel the pride in their wood-fired pizza!! They say it's the number one pizza in the world, so I was so excited. It's also a great spot to build a Hapjeong date course that continues from dinner to a café, so it's a good place for anyone looking for a Hapjeong blind date restaurant or Hapjeong date restaurant haha.

And the interior seating was genuinely clean and neat, so it's good to come with friends but would also work great for a date or blind date. Personally, I really, really loved the atmosphere of the place.

Menu and drink refills at Pizzeria O

At Pizzeria O, a Hapjeong favorite, you can try all kinds of wood-fired pizzas — one of the most popular is the Margherita Bufala!! If you like a classic pizza, it's the safest, easiest pick, and if there are two of you, ordering one pizza plus a pasta or salad to share is also a great move. Drinks come with one free refill, so we refilled with zero-sugar cola.

Appetizer: Caesar salad

We ordered the Caesar salad as an appetizer — fresh vegetables and romaine with a half-moon-shaped cheese bread on top! The bacon pieces were also completely chunky.

The veggies were fresh and the dressing was tasty, but personally this half-moon bread was ridiculously good. Since the wood-fired oven is really the main event, the bread was baked beautifully and the cheese combination inside was fantastic.

How was the ragu pasta?

Finally, the main dishes arrived. We ordered the Margherita Bufala pizza, Funghi mushroom pizza, and ragu pasta — everything looked so appetizing and smelled amazing.

The ragu pasta had wide, flat noodles in a sauce genuinely made with ragu.

The combination of tomato and meat was so good, and it was honestly one of my favorite dishes there haha. It was a great pick to order alongside a pizza and share.

Funghi pizza vs. Margherita Bufala

Since we all love mushrooms, we ordered the Funghi pizza!! Being genuinely wood-fired, the crust was soft and the mushroom flavor really came through — I loved it.

The Margherita Bufala pizza definitely had that delicious cheese, so the flavor was excellent. The tomato sauce paired well too, and the basil leaves scattered throughout cut through the richness perfectly — so good. And since the leftover pizza can be boxed up, we took ours to go, which felt like such a thoughtful little touch.

If you're looking for a blind date spot, a date restaurant, or an Italian restaurant with great atmosphere in Hapjeong, I highly recommend Pizzeria O haha. There are so many pizza varieties to choose from based on your taste, and if you're visiting as a pair, ordering a pizza plus another dish to share works really well.
