Pizza and draft beer bar in Yangcheon, Seoul: Eopija

The weather was lovely, and while I was out for an evening walk, I suddenly wanted pizza and a draft beer, so I headed to Eopija (어피자), a great spot near Yeomchang Station.

Located near Exit 4 of Yeomchang Station, Eopija is a bar where you can enjoy pizza and imported draft beer. It is a popular pub thanks to its lovely atmosphere.

Mood-setting music plays, and the lighting makes this a nice Yeomchang Station spot for a date. There are group tables too, so I also recommend it for work dinners or get-togethers!

If you need parking, use the nearby Wolchon Public Parking Lot!

Eopija has plenty of pizza choices, so you can pick according to your taste. The crust is very thin by default. If you like thin, crisp pizza, it will probably be right up your alley. The generous sides and set menus were great for sharing, and there was a wide selection of drinks—from imported draft beer to highballs, wine, and whiskey—making it a good place for work dinners!

Half-and-half pizza and tteokbokki

An honest review of Eopija pizza and tteokbokki near Yeomchang Station

Maybe because it is a bar that serves pizza, the complimentary snack was Pizza Time haha! It had been a while since I'd had it, and it was tasty.

That day, we ordered a whole half-and-half pizza! We also made the most of it with tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) on the side.

A half pizza felt like it might not be enough, so we ordered a whole one—but the size was so big that I was startled..! My brain froze for a moment, but I pulled myself together haha!! Then I started happily wondering, how are we ever going to finish this~~ I was honestly relieved the crust was thin.

We also got draft beer that seemed like it would go perfectly with the pizza 🍻 This Yeomchang Station bar had lots of imported draft beers to choose from, which was nice.

Sweet potato pizza and garlic dip

First, we tried the hot sweet potato pizza. Sweet potato mousse and cheese together!

Sweet sweet potato pizza with savory garlic dip is one of those delicious combinations everyone who has eaten a bit of pizza knows, right?

I know the flavor well too, and that is exactly why it is dangerous—it was so good!!

We also tried bulgogi pizza, which I always choose when ordering pizza. This was a spicy version, so I kept reaching for it.

And these extra-crispy bits were a little like crackers, so they were surprisingly tasty. They did not feel as filling and made a great snack with beer!

The complimentary vegetable salad tasted similar to coleslaw without the cabbage, and it was nice for cutting through the richness.

It was delicious spooned right over the pizza too! With the thin-crust pizza, it was the perfect beer snack, easy to pop like finger food.

The tteokbokki on the side was just right: sweet and spicy, a flavor almost anyone would enjoy.

It had pepperoni ham in it, so it felt even more substantial, and I really enjoyed it!

This Yeomchang Station bar had delicious pizza and lots of small snacks that went beautifully with cold draft beer. With a wide range of drinks and plenty of options beyond pizza, Eopija was a great Yeomchang Station spot for work dinners or gatherings!
