Quiet 9am fig pistachio baguette, Seoul Station bakery: Dance Dance

Today I finally made it to Dance Dance Dance, a place I've wanted to visit for SO long!!! Their baguettes are famous for being amazing ,,, 🤤🤤 I heard a new branch opened at Seoul Station, so on my way to catch a train this holiday, I quickly stopped by beforehand 🙌

Where is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, and what are its hours?

• Hours: Daily 07:00–19:00 (last order 18:30)
• Location: B306-2, B3, Grand Central, 14 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea (167m from Seoul Station Exit 4)

It's close to Seoul Station Exit 4, so it's great for a quick bite before catching the KTX like I did, or for grabbing something to take with you on the train ~~

It's on B3 of the Grand Central building, right in front of the Sungnyemun bus stop! I looked around while riding the escalator down, and there were way more restaurants and cafés down there than I expected!?

Ride the elevator or escalator down and there's Dance Dance Dance right there ../ ((ahh so excited

They also had this kind of event going on haha. If you like running, this might be worth checking out! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

New choco baguette or the autumn fig pistachio baguette?

Here's the menu.

Honestly, I only came for the baguettes ,,, so I didn't realize there were this many sandwiches too, there were quite a lot. I agonized for a long time between the new menu items, choco choco baguette and pistachio choco baguette, and the fall season fig pistachio baguette … and decided on the fig pistachio baguette!!

You could see the bread displayed like this too, and there was also a notice with product consumption guidelines posted.

How busy is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station at 9am on a weekday?

I went around 9am on a weekday, so there were almost no other customers.

Here's what the inside looks like! The ceilings are really high and open, so it definitely felt spacious and nice haha.

Fig pistachio baguette: tofu cream cheese taste and texture

Ahh …. here it comes

ㅠㅠㅠㅠ the fig smell is insane ,,,,,

It looks so pretty that I just want to keep taking photos of it lol. There's also a generous scattering of crushed pistachio on top haha.

Suddenly felt bad about eating it (?)

Here's the cross-section. The cream is completely thick haha. I heard Dance Dance Dance uses tofu cream cheese! I really wanted to come here specifically because I was so curious about this tofu cream cheese ➰

There's also fig jam spread on the bottom!

Wow. Wow. WOW!!!!!!!!!! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ It's the kind of taste that literally makes you clutch your forehead .. The cream was so springy and thicker than I expected, I was surprised. When I took a bite, the cream immediately held a tooth mark, which was so cool haha.

First of all, the fig + pistachio combo is just so good ,, bb the bread is crisp, fluffy and chewy, and the figs are so sweet you can tell they're really in season right now, the fig jam blends in perfectly too, and the pistachio cream is seriously amazing.

The pistachio cream really tastes like the real thing .. 🤦‍♀️ Nutty, sweet, thick, springy, soft ……… and with the crushed pistachio bits added on top, the texture was also amazing. So so good. Tofu cream cheese .. you're really something else

Is the baguette too chewy to eat easily?

The baguette was crisp on the outside and fluffy and chewy inside, which I really loved (+moist. I went to another café that sells baguettes once and was a bit disappointed because it was tougher than I expected ㅜ but this one isn't tough at all 😌 (I ate both this one and the other café's right there in-store)

Ah only one piece left .. so sad so sad. It was so, so good that I thought about getting a choco baguette to take home too, but I already had too much luggage ㅜㅜ I'll definitely come back next time and try the choco baguette!!!!!!

Is Dance Dance Dance worth it for breakfast before a KTX train?

I don't think it's called a baguette hotspot for no reason. Seeing the baguette, I have a feeling the sandwiches here are also amazing .. 🙂‍↕️ These are hearty breads like baguettes and sandwiches, so they're perfect for brunch too!!

A Seoul Station brunch spot, a Grand Central brunch spot, a Seoul Station baguette spot, a Seoul Station sandwich spot — Dance Dance Dance!!!!!!!!!! I especially recommend the current fall season menu item, the fig pistachio baguette!! haha.
