The pork galbi table for two: corn cheese and steamed egg included

Order two servings of pork galbi and a generous full spread arrives ✨

Lettuce, perilla leaves, and other ssam vegetables served as basic side dishes
양배추 샐러드와 겉절이 등 곁반찬
Seasoned crab, gejang, served as a free side dish

Lettuce, perilla leaves, cheongyang chili, garlic, ssamjang, sliced onion, sauce, cabbage salad, geotjeori (fresh kimchi), a warm soup, salad, pickled radish, and even plump seasoned crab, gejang!!!

Corn cheese and steamed egg served as free side dishes

On top of that, corn cheese and steamed egg come as free side dishes!!! ✨ And even if you order extra, each is only ₩1,000 — such kind pricing. Between the sides and the free extras, this is basically a hyeja (great-value) deal, right 👏🏻

How much meat? 250g per serving, 500g for two

500g of well-seasoned pork galbi for two servings

Pork galbi comes in 250g per serving, so two servings is a whopping 500g +.+ It was the perfect amount for my daughter and me to eat together, plenty to fill us up. The meat was also nicely coated in seasoning and looked good even before grilling — I was excited already 💓

Pork galbi placed on the charcoal grill

And once it's grilled over charcoal, it's a whole different level!!!

Bibim naengmyeon ordered ahead to eat alongside the meat

We also ordered bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles) ahead of time. There was a dessert version of bibim naengmyeon too, but my daughter wanted to eat it alongside the meat, so we went with the regular one.

How the charcoal-grilled pork galbi tastes

Pork galbi sizzling away over the charcoal ✨ I liked that the seasoning wasn't too strong or overpowering, and the meat itself was quite tender. There was a subtle charcoal aroma that made the flavor feel more alive with every bite!

My daughter gave a thumbs up 👍 the moment she took a bite. She kept saying "I want to come here again" the whole time we ate haha.

Pork galbi being flipped often while grilling

You have to flip pork galbi often so it doesn't burn and grills up nicely — I'm getting pretty used to it by now! Honestly there's no special trick, you just have to flip it often haha.

Taking a bite of the golden-brown galbi, the tender texture, the slightly sweet seasoning, and the subtle charcoal aroma all came together — it was basically a rice thief.

River snail doenjang stew for 2,000 won, rice for 1,000 won

Ganjang jjigae with clams ₩2,000, rice ₩1,000. It'd feel wrong not to order the stew at a BBQ place haha. And at just ₩2,000, what value >.< The bubbling hot stew came out savory with a bit of a kick, and it paired really well with the meat. The stew itself was so tasty that ordering a bowl of rice alongside it was a great combo! This is definitely one to order together 💓

Bibim naengmyeon topped with radish and cucumber

Finishing with bibim naengmyeon (cold spicy noodles)

After the meat, of course you finish with naengmyeon haha. The spicy-tangy sauce clung nicely to the noodles, and eating it with crunchy radish and cucumber gave it great texture! Topping it with a bite of the charcoal-smoky pork galbi made the combo even better +.+ Meat and bibim naengmyeon, a perfect pairing 💓

Who knew there was such a great-value BBQ place like this! The whole time I was eating, I kept thinking, why didn't I come here sooner haha. The pork galbi portion was generous, and the free sides and extras came out so solidly that my daughter and I left completely full +.+ My daughter wanted to come back again, so this place is definitely getting a repeat visit haha.
