In short
Eoeum-ri Photo Studio is a photo studio in Eoeum-ri, Aewol-eup on Jeju Island that shoots outdoor snaps against traditional stone walls and an old stone storehouse. Coming to Jeju for a family trip, this time I wanted to do more than just hit tourist spots — I wanted to leave behind a nice photo of all four of us haha

When you travel with a baby, you end up taking a ton of photos, but somehow there are barely any where the whole family is actually together in the frame.

So this trip I decided we had to get a Jeju snap shoot done, and we went to Eoeum-ri Photo Studio in Aewol :)

The stone-wall backdrop that looks unmistakably Jeju
What I liked most when we arrived at Eoeum-ri Photo Studio was that it doesn't feel like your typical indoor family photo studio at all!

With the distinctive Jeju stone walls and stone storehouses, and the old village scenery itself as the backdrop, the Jeju atmosphere naturally comes through in the photos. So even without dressing up elaborately or striking special poses, the photos themselves just came out pretty. For anyone like us hoping to capture a Jeju snap as a family trip memento, this kind of setting felt especially fitting.
Looking at recent reviews too, a lot of people mention shooting around the stone walls and stone storehouses, then taking self-photos indoors while waiting for editing afterward.
A family photo with all four of us, baby included
What I loved most about this shoot at Eoeum-ri Photo Studio was that we finally got a nice photo with the baby and all four of us together. Usually with travel photos, someone always ends up being the one taking the picture, so there are barely any shots with the whole family in them.

But with the photographer shooting for us, this time all four of us were in one frame! I was a little worried whether the baby would stay still during the shoot, but it actually ended up capturing a more natural moment rather than a stiff, formal family photo, which I loved.

Having our baby's current look captured along with the moment our family came to Jeju together, all in one photo, made me really glad we did the Jeju snap shoot.
Why the finished photos were worth the shoot
Honestly, when you're taking photos in the moment while traveling, you don't always know if they'll look good. But seeing the finished photos, with Jeju's calm atmosphere and our family together in the frame, they turned out even better than I expected.

Instead of an overly styled set, you can see the actual texture of the stone walls and old buildings, so even years from now I think I'll look at these and instantly remember, 'oh right, we went to Jeju then.'

Especially since babies grow so fast, I started thinking it might be nice to get a Jeju snap done every time we take a family trip.
It wasn't just about walking away with a few pretty photos — it felt more like recording exactly what our family of four looks like right now, which made it even better haha
Is a snap shoot worth it on a Jeju family trip?
On Jeju, you eat great food and visit lots of pretty places, but after the trip ends, what lasts the longest in the end is really the photos.

Especially if you're traveling with a baby, their look changes so much even after just a few months, so I think capturing a family photo each time will end up meaning even more later on.
If you're looking for a Jeju snap or family photo shoot around Aewol, Jeju, I'd say it's worth checking out Eoeum-ri Photo Studio too. Seeing the photo with all four of us together, I really felt like visiting Eoeum-ri Photo Studio on this Jeju family trip was such a good call :)

It's just one photo, but somehow it brings back the weather that day, the atmosphere, and even how the baby looked. On this trip, we really came away with a beautiful family photo to keep for a long time.
