Why Figure Museum Jeju works on a rainy day in Seogwipo

During my Jeju trip there was a chance of rain, so I went looking for indoor things to do in Jeju Island, and reviews for 'Figure Museum Jeju' kept coming up! It's located at 243 Hanchang-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, which made it easy to fit into a Seogwipo-area itinerary. The parking lot was spacious too, so getting there was no hassle at all~

Admission prices and the 1+1 character mask event

Admission: Adults ₩14,000 / Middle-high school students ₩12,000 / Elementary and under ₩10,000 (free under 24 months)

Once inside, there was a nice little tip event at the ticket booth! If you take part in the Naver review event, you get a coupon for 1+1 character masks!!

We put on our entry wristbands and got two masks from the event, and wore them right away as we went in, feeling excited 🤍

The detailed explanations for the figures were also really well done

The moment I walked in, I got chills!!

Life-size figures, from Marvel to Avatar

It was the life-size, large-scale figures! Movie, game and animation characters that every generation can relate to are spread out right in front of you, and each one is unbelievably detailed — the variety and sheer number left me in awe. I totally understood why people recommend this as a place to visit in Jeju.

The first thing that caught my eye was the Marvel series section

Besides that, there was Lord of the Rings,

and Avatar and other familiar movie figures filled the space,

and next to each piece was a short description panel about the film, which made it much easier to get immersed while looking around

Life-size photo zones and hands-on props

In particular, there were life-size photo zones set up here and there where you could actually try on or experience gear from the animations!

It was such a great spot for photos that my boyfriend got excited like a kid too, running around looking at everything haha

If you're looking for places to visit in Jeju with kids, I think they'd absolutely love this lol

Second-floor exhibits, dioramas and Bearbrick

The grand and stunning second-floor figures

Every single detail is so alive!

The intricately made diorama action figures meant the sights truly never ended lol

There are Frozen characters that kids and women would love, and

cute little Bearbrick figures displayed in an amazing variety of concepts too,

so I think this is a space where anyone, regardless of age or gender, will find at least one thing they love 🤍

Gift shop prices and the random capsule event

After finishing the exhibits, the path out leads through the gift shop. It happened to be running a Figure Museum Jeju thank-you event too, where you get a free random capsule with purchases over ₩50,000!

It was full of high-quality goods that would make figure lovers or kids' eyes light up

The annex packed with old-school characters

But that's not the end — once you finish looking around the main building, it leads to the annex! The annex is packed with figures of classic, old-school characters that stir up a bit more nostalgia, more than enough to trigger the adults' nostalgia too

I only went because of a sudden chance of rain, but it turned out to be an indoor attraction in Jeju that was more of a feast for the eyes than expected 💛 You can enjoy it comfortably no matter the weather, and if you're looking for a place to visit in Jeju that the whole family, from kids to adults, can enjoy together, make sure to visit Figure Museum Jeju!
