Andeok figure museum game zones and gacha: Figure Museum Jeju

We visited Figure Museum Jeju during our trip to Jeju Island. Before going, I figured it would just be a small collection of figures, but once we actually walked in, the scale was much bigger than expected and it was genuinely packed with figures that people of any age or gender could enjoy.

It's especially good as an indoor attraction to visit on days with bad weather, so if you're looking for things to do in Jeju, it's worth checking out. There was more to see than we expected, and we ended up spending over 1 hour 30 minutes there. Let's get into the details below.

Right near the entrance, there was a whole range of Marvel characters on display. I'd assumed there'd only be small figures, but there were actually life-size ones too, which made it a lot more fun to look around. Some of them you could actually try on, so we had fun putting things on one by one and taking photos.

There was also a space showing the evolution of Iron Man's suits, plus various other Marvel characters like Thanos and Hulk. Some things you could try on yourself, like Thor's hammer or Iron Man's hand, and it was nice that everything was kept clean and well maintained.

There was also Batman's car on display, and seeing it in person, it was way bigger than we'd imagined — my husband and I stood there for a while just going "this is seriously huge."

Star Wars zone, Demon Slayer and One Piece characters

There was also a space dedicated to Star Wars, which Star Wars fans would especially enjoy. The sheer number of figures was almost unbelievable, and time flew by as we looked at them one after another.

A bit further along, we found Demon Slayer, One Piece, and a whole range of other anime characters.

Overwatch, League of Legends and Tekken: the game character zone

There were plenty of Overwatch and League of Legends characters too, so gamers would have a lot to look at.

There was also Tekken, which my husband loves — there were so many characters that even I, someone who's not usually into figures, ended up enjoying it.

Disney characters and the photo zone

There were Disney characters that kids love, including an Elsa figure from Frozen, plus a separate photo zone set up for taking pictures with the characters. It seemed like a great spot for families traveling with kids to look around and take photos.

It's not just an exhibition — there's also a space selling merchandise, with all kinds of dolls and figures for sale, plus gacha capsule machines… we ended up pulling about 10 times haha.

After that we moved on to another building to keep exploring. This one had Ghibli characters and Pokémon gathered together, plus Super Mario, and we lost track of time looking around.

How long does a visit to Figure Museum Jeju take?

We looked around at a fairly quick pace and still ended up staying over 1 hour 30 minutes. There's such a wide variety of characters and exhibits that if you take your time with each one, you could easily stay even longer. It's especially good for spending time indoors on days when it's raining or hard to get around outdoor spots in Jeju.

If you're looking for things to do in Jeju — either somewhere to bring kids or an indoor attraction that adults can enjoy too — definitely check out Figure Museum Jeju. There was so much more to see than we expected, and we ended up having a much better time than we thought we would.

If you already have a favorite character, the fun of hunting it down will be even bigger, and it also seems like a great spot to visit with kindergarten or teenage kids for finding common ground to talk about.
