Hi everyone~~~ When you're traveling around Yeosu, there are moments in the heat when you suddenly crave something cold and sweet, haha. Especially in summer, Yeosu makes you sweat buckets after just a little walking, so a bingsu (Korean shaved ice) felt urgent.

So this time, while heading toward Dolsan after riding the Yeosu cable car, we looked for a bingsu spot to cool off. We ended up at Gwaireui Sup Yeosu Branch. The name itself sounded like they were serious about fruit, and once we visited, it turned out they really did have a wide range of fruit menu items.

Best of all, that day we found a menu item that was exactly our taste since we love peaches, so we ordered it right away. It's a great place to stop by when you're craving something sweet and cold while traveling in Yeosu in summer, haha.

Gwaireui Sup Yeosu Branch sits near the entrance to Dolsan. The address is 4 Baekchoan-gil, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, South Korea, 1st floor. It's easier to find using the nearby Starbucks DT branch or Big Farm grocery mart as landmarks. Most people get around Yeosu by car.

Fortunately, the store has its own parking space, so parking was easy. When you end up wandering around looking for parking while traveling, it kind of wears you out before you even get to eat anything good, lol. Not having to worry about that was a plus.

The exterior felt a bit different from a typical franchise café. It's built from a container, which felt slightly unusual at first, but up close it had its own charm. It stuck in my memory as a somewhat unique fruit dessert café we found during our Yeosu trip, haha.

Inside Gwaireui Sup: zoned indoor seats, outdoor parasols, and are dogs allowed?

Once inside, the space was cozier than I expected.

It was divided into several zones, so the tables didn't feel crammed together.

Each seat had a decent amount of space, making it comfortable to sit and rest.

It was also nice for a couple like us to order one bingsu and chat about our trip while resting.

Above all, the moment we stepped in from the heat, the AC felt amazing, lol.

Having a cool space like this really matters on a summer trip, haha. There were also outdoor seats available.

With parasols and shade screens set up, it looked like a nice option to relax outdoors if the weather cooperates.

There were also several spots around the café good for photos,

which was nice for leaving a memory shot of the Yeosu trip.

And since dogs are allowed here, this is a good reference point for anyone traveling with their pup.

Gwaireui Sup menu and the price of the Peach Festival bingsu

True to the name Gwaireui Sup (fruit forest), the menu had quite a range from the start. You can choose from the basic red bean bingsu, injeolmi (rice cake) bingsu, or fruit bingsu depending on your taste. There were also plenty of seasonal fruit options like peach bingsu, mango bingsu, melon bingsu, and watermelon bingsu. There were so many bingsu options that we spent a while deciding what to get, haha.

Besides bingsu, they also have fresh fruit juice, coffee, yogurt, açaí bowls, and fruit crepes. It looked like a good spot even if you just want a light drink or a simple dessert.

What we chose that day was the peach bingsu!🍑 The price was ₩28,000 for two people. Doesn't the name alone make you think it's packed with peaches, haha? We waited, curious just how generous it would be.

How does the 28,000 won peach bingsu for two taste?

Alright~ time for the taste review.

After a short wait, the peach bingsu finally arrived at our table, hahaha. The moment I saw it, I understood right away why it's called a 'grand feast,' lol.

There was a really generous amount of peach piled on top of the shaved ice.

Seeing it in person felt even more abundant than in photos, which I liked.

These days, even 'fruit bingsu' can sometimes be a little disappointing with just a few slices of fruit on top.

But here, it was clear at a glance that peach really was the main event. First, I tried a bite of the peach on its own.

It was sweet with a juicy, moist texture — perfect for a summer dessert. The peach was delicious enough on its own, but it was even better eaten with the soft milk ice. The sweetness of the peach combined with the cold, soft ice made my mouth feel refreshed!

Eating it on a hot day, the coolness really hit the spot, haha. The peach wasn't just one texture either — you could enjoy several different textures, which made eating it more fun. Personally, I think anyone who loves peaches would be quite satisfied with this menu.

There was also a scoop of ice cream on top.

Eating it together with the bingsu added even more sweetness, and it really felt like eating a proper dessert, haha. In between, adding a bit of peach sauce or mixing in some cereal gave a different texture each time. That said, I'd recommend adding the sauce little by little rather than pouring it all on at once.

That way, you can still fully enjoy the natural sweetness of the fresh peach.

And personally, what I liked most was how generous the peach portion was! With bingsu, there's often a point where the fruit disappears and you're left just scooping plain ice, lol.

But here, we could enjoy the peach all the way to the end of the bingsu, which was more satisfying. Sharing it between two of us, the portion was quite decent too. The price is ₩28,000, which might seem like a lot at first, but considering it's a two-person menu, it was reasonable to share as a couple or with two people.

We had peach bingsu this time, but next time I'd like to try other seasonal fruit bingsu like mango or melon, haha.

Above all, it was a nice place for a couple to take a short break in Dolsan while traveling in Yeosu and share a bingsu together. So I think it's a good option for anyone looking for a date spot in Yeosu Dolsan. With parking available and a cool indoor space, it was also comfortable for a quick rest during a trip. There's outdoor seating too, so it'd be great to enjoy outside on a nice-weather day.
