Guri crab restaurant with spicy crab bibimbap and roe wraps: Onggi
In short
Onggi Kkotgejang Main Branch is an all-you-can-eat soy and spicy marinated crab restaurant on Donggureung-ro in Guri, Gyeonggi. Two diners ordered two 26,000 won all-you-can-eat sets at Onggi Kkotgejang Main Branch, refilled once with soy crab and once with spicy marinated crab, wrapped crab meat in the flying fish roe served at the start, and squeezed out every bit of spicy crab meat for bibimbap. At Onggi Kkotgejang Main Branch, the spicy marinated crab tasted better than the soy crab.

If you're a crab lover who wants to eat until you're satisfied, an all-you-can-eat crab place is exactly what you dream about! But for those worried the quality might not be great, let me introduce a soy crab spot in Guri today ~~~~~~~
Where is Onggi Kkotgejang Main Branch and how to get there from Donggureung Station?
Onggi Kkotgejang Main Branch is at 206 Donggureung-ro, Guri, Gyeonggi-do. You can walk from Donggureung Station or take a village bus and get there quickly.

All the shops around it felt like family-friendly restaurant spots!!
Inside Onggi Kkotgejang: a wide hall with group tables

There was a lot of group seating and the tables themselves were plentiful and spacious. It felt like a place that gets a lot of group customers.
How much is all-you-can-eat crab in Guri? 26,000 won per person

The menu at Onggi Kkotgejang Main Branch is all-you-can-eat crab for ₩26,000! Fried egg, flying fish roe, and ramyeon can be added on. For reference, flying fish roe is provided once for free at the start.
Ordering all-you-can-eat crab for two: 52,000 won
We didn't add ramyeon or fried egg separately and just ordered the all-you-can-eat menu!

Since it's all-you-can-eat, it's better to refill just as much as you'll eat rather than bringing out too much! And of course, since it's an all-you-can-eat place, leftovers can't be packed to go, and there's a notice that a ₩5,000 environmental fee applies if you leave food, which seemed worth noting.

It also looked like soy-marinated shrimp could be added separately. Gloves and wet wipes were self-serve too, kept together with the ramyeon self-serve corner.

How do refills work at Onggi Kkotgejang?
At Onggi Kkotgejang, the rule is one order per person, and you're told to ask staff for crab refills. Disposable gloves and aprons are self-serve, and the refilled crab is the same crab as the first serving, but it's given whole! But cracking it open wasn't that hard haha.
The first table: soy crab and spicy marinated crab together

Here's the soy crab and spicy marinated crab that came out!! They came out so so so pretty and looked really appetizing. As soon as it arrived I went into full photo-taking mode because it was so pretty ㅋㅎㅎㅋ📸

And the basic side dishes included were seasoned miyeok julgi (seaweed stem) with radish, I think, plus gim (seaweed), flying fish roe, kimchi, and bean sprouts.

This crab spread really looks appetizing🤤 It's decorated with red and green peppers on top, which makes it look even more appetizing I think.

The shell is packed full of roe and innards. Seeing this makes me want to mix rice into the shell right away haha.

They cut the crab full of innards in half for us, and looking at the cross-section, the meat was really packed full!! I'd always wanted to try this at least once when eating crab lol. Squeezing it out like this, so much meat comes out.
Squeeze the meat out and eat it with rice once, then mix rice into the shell too and enjoy that thoroughly.
The second refill arrives as a whole crab

And here's the crab from our second refill. Refill crab is given to you whole like this.

Open the shell and it's full of innards. Once you open the shell and remove the whiskers or hairs on the side, the prep is done.

They made us a wrap with flying fish roe too haha. I already love flying fish roe so much, so eating it piled on top was so delicious.

Wow, can you see the meat? Seriously packed full of meat 🦀

They made a flying fish roe wrap with the marinated crab too, and since the roe is somewhat sweet, eating it wrapped together was so delicious.

Spicy marinated crab bibimbap and the honest verdict on Onggi Kkotgejang
The spicy marinated crab was seriously so so so good that I squeezed out all the meat and mixed it up with rice haha. I basically ended up making spicy marinated crab bibimbap here ㅋㅎㅋㅋㅋㅋ. Gathering just the meat like this made me think of a marinated crab place in Yeosu haha.
Personally, the spicy marinated crab here was so delicious that I really enjoyed my meal! The owner would come by with the crab and ask if we wanted a refill without us even having to say anything haha. Recommended if you like crab, and especially recommended if you like spicy marinated crab! We were so full that we only refilled once each of the marinated crab and the soy crab.
