Cheonan dog-friendly café with bulgogi pepperoni pizza: Pino Cafe Cheonan

On cool days with clear skies like these, I definitely prefer a large café where you can enjoy an outdoor garden too, rather than one where you stay indoors the whole time. This time, I went to Pino Cafe Cheonan, a place my parents often visit, for brunch with my dog!

With its spacious garden and outdoor seating, it looked wonderful not only for a dog-friendly outing but also for visiting with children and taking lots of pretty photos. In autumn especially, you can see yellow cosmos too, and being able to enjoy brunch, a walk, and autumn outing photos all in one place was the biggest plus.

Where is Pino Cafe Cheonan, and what is it like?

Pino Cafe Cheonan is a large garden-style brunch café near Taehaksan in Pungse-myeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan. Rather than simply being a café for coffee, it felt more like somewhere to have a light brunch, stroll through the garden, and spend time at an easy pace.

There is an annex as well as the main building, and parking is available in several areas, so it is convenient to visit by car!

Why Pino Cafe Cheonan is a great place to visit

Pino Cafe Cheonan's greatest charm is surely its expansive outdoor garden, whose mood changes with the seasons. It has daisies and green barley in spring, hydrangeas in summer, yellow cosmos in autumn, and Christmas decorations in winter, so you can see a completely different scene depending on when you visit.

When I visited, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, and yellow and orange-tinted cosmos spread out beneath the blue sky. (You can see them if you visit from late August through September!)

On cool days like these, rather than just having coffee and leaving, it is nice to have brunch and slowly walk one lap around the garden. Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest is also very nearby, so it is easy to combine the two.

My visit with my dog

Pino Cafe Cheonan was a great dog-friendly café in Cheonan to visit with a dog on a nice day. I brought my dog along this time too, and the outdoor area was so spacious that we could spend our time much more comfortably than in a typical indoor café.

Sitting at an outdoor table with yellow cosmos in view while eating brunch was especially lovely. With my dog sitting beside me and the flower field stretching out in front of us, it even felt as if we had taken a trip outside Seoul!

There were plenty of photo spots around the flower field and windmill, so our dog got some truly perfect life-shot photos here~!

Another reason I liked Pino Cafe Cheonan! Its brunch selection was quite varied. From pasta, risotto, and pizza to sandwich platters and steak, it is a good lineup even if you come specifically for lunch.

When you order a brunch menu item, you can also get 20% off an Americano or ade, which made it nice to order a meal and drinks together.

That day, we ordered the bulgogi and pepperoni pizza and a croissant sandwich platter. Once we laid the food out on the outdoor table, with yellow cosmos behind us and our dog beside us, even the photos came out so beautifully.

The salty pepperoni and gently sweet beef bulgogi made for a menu item that was great for sharing with several people. The cheese and toppings were more generous than I expected, so contrary to my assumption that food at a large café might be all about looks, it was quite satisfying as a meal too.

Croissant sandwich platter

Just as its name suggests, this is a full brunch plate centered on a croissant sandwich, served with salad, sausage, a fried egg, and fries. The crisp croissant was packed with vegetables and fillings, and the varied sides made even one order quite filling. Ordered with the pizza, it was an especially good combination to share with several people!

Is it also good to visit with children?

Pino Cafe Cheonan is a space that suits not only dogs but also families visiting with children.

There is an outdoor garden and a wide lawn, along with conveniences such as high chairs and baby tableware, so there seemed to be many reviews from visitors with children. We also saw families out with children when we went, and the whole atmosphere was completely relaxing.

A little farther uphill from the garden, there is also a campnic space, a picnic-style camping area, so it looks nice for staying longer and playing with children rather than simply stopping by a café.
