Cheonan café for truffle pasta and watermelon juice: Pino Cafe
In short
Pino Cafe Cheonan is a brunch café near Taehaksan in Cheonan, Chungnam, with a broad garden. At lunch, I ordered truffle cream pasta, a croissant sandwich set, iced Americanos, and 100% real watermelon juice, then walked among yellow cosmos and a red windmill. A lovely pick for a relaxed meal and garden stroll.

With this pleasantly cool weather continuing lately, I was looking for somewhere I could enjoy a leisurely brunch and look around a pretty garden, and that is how I found this place. It is Pino Cafe Cheonan, located near Taehaksan.
Pino Cafe Cheonan location and visitor information
It is at 99-23 Hyuyangnim-gil, Pungse-myeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, South Korea (충청남도 천안시 동남구 풍세면 휴양림길 99-23). Hours are 10:00–20:30, and it is open every day. You can use the café parking lot.

We arrived around noon, and there were more people enjoying brunch than I had expected.
Looking at all the tables, I would say around 60% were occupied. I wondered if it was already well known as a Cheonan brunch café, but once I saw the atmosphere, I understood why so many people come. It also felt like a perfect spot for a date in Cheonan.

Lunch orders and menu preparation time

Here is what we ordered.
- Truffle cream pasta — ₩16,000
- Croissant sandwich set — ₩17,000
- Iced Americano — ₩5,500
- 100% real watermelon juice — ₩7,500
I expected some wait at lunchtime, but when we went to order, we were told that many orders from guests ahead of us were backed up and our food could take about 40 minutes. Still, rather than simply sitting at our table and waiting, we decided to look around the café.

But I lost track of time while looking around the garden, and I think all our dishes were ready within 30 minutes.
A garden that made the wait enjoyable
What impressed me most at Pino Cafe was that its garden was much bigger than I had expected.

Perhaps because it was autumn, yellow cosmos flowers were blooming all around the garden. Seeing the yellow blooms spread out in abundance instantly lifted my mood.

What I remember especially was the red windmill nestled among the yellow cosmos. The sight of it slowly turning amid the yellow flower field was even more wonderful than I expected.

Rather than just coming to a café for coffee, it felt as though I had come to visit a space with a beautiful garden.
Truffle cream pasta taste

The first dish I tried was the truffle cream pasta. The creamy sauce was enhanced by truffle's distinctive subtle aroma, making for a rich, nutty pasta with plenty of flavor.

The cream sauce blended smoothly with the noodles, so it was a nice brunch dish. The truffle aroma was not overpowering either, which made it easy to enjoy.
What comes with the croissant sandwich set

The second item we ordered was the croissant sandwich set. It is a sandwich made by filling a crisp, flaky croissant with ingredients.

Since it came as a set, it felt like a great option for a light brunch while enjoying a few different things together. Its pretty presentation also made it lovely to photograph, and it suited a leisurely brunch perfectly.
Iced Americanos and watermelon juice

For drinks, we ordered two iced Americanos and 100% real watermelon juice. The iced Americanos were clean, easy drinks that paired well with brunch, so they were nice to sip with the meal.
The watermelon juice particularly caught my eye because it was labeled 100% real watermelon juice. Its cool, sweet watermelon flavor came through as is, making it great for warm weather as well as with brunch.
A Cheonan date with a garden walk
Because the garden is so large, it was fun to slowly explore each area. There were places with flowers in bloom and spots that were great for photos, so I thought it would be nice for taking pictures on a date too. Especially in cool autumn weather, I would recommend having coffee and taking a slow walk through the garden rather than only eating brunch indoors and leaving.

So personally, I thought it was a space that would suit anyone looking for a date spot in Cheonan. You can enjoy delicious brunch, admire pretty flowers, and spend time at an unhurried pace.
Final thoughts on enjoying both the food and space

Unlike a typical café where you eat and leave right away, I think Pino Cafe's appeal is that you can enjoy the space itself.

The yellow cosmos are in bloom in autumn, making the scenery even prettier, so if you visit on a nice day, be sure to explore the garden too. If you are looking for a Cheonan brunch café where you can enjoy the atmosphere as well, or a Cheonan date spot where you can have brunch, look at flowers, and spend time leisurely, Pino Cafe seems like a good choice. I visited at lunchtime, but next time I would like to go at a quieter time, have a cup of coffee, and slowly look around the garden.
