A large parking lot and a forest walking route

The parking lot is seriously huge, so you can visit comfortably without worrying about parking! It is absolutely ideal for anyone driving over,, 👍🏻 Siyudang is on the left just before the entrance to Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest in Pungse, so it is perfect for heading straight next door for a forest walk after brunch! The surroundings are so green too, so I highly recommend it for a date course! (´▽`)

Siyudang’s exterior and indoor atmosphere

Even the exterior is neat and full of that lovely-vibes aesthetic,, ✨ The interior is decorated so cutely too, with lots of photo spots dotted all around~

Especially on the rooftop sky garden, there are pretty flowers and a windmill, making it such a great place for photos! 📸

The inside is done in white and wood tones, so it felt both clean and warm 🤎 There are so many tables that I had trouble deciding where to sit, haha. They also have comfortable floor-seating tables, so it looked great for families too!

Bakery items and drinks

There is an incredibly wide selection of bakery items too! Siyudang says it makes its bread fresh every dawn and follows a same-day baking, same-day sales policy ✨ I visited around 6 p.m. on a Saturday, and sadly there were not many breads left 😭 If you want bakery items, I recommend coming a little earlier!

Plenty of drink choices even if you do not drink coffee

Looking over the drink menu, there was such a huge range, from coffee to ades and smoothies! With a barista holding an SCA international coffee qualification and a handmade syrup specialist on staff, the drinks seemed likely to be high quality too 👍🏻 I was craving something cool and sweet, so I ordered the mango smoothie (₩7,500)! There are lots of non-coffee drinks, which gives non-coffee drinkers plenty of choices too!

Brunch and dinner menu

For meals, there is a variety of Western dishes including pasta, risotto, pizza, and salads! Siyudang makes all its sauces from scratch and even ferments its own pizza dough?! The care that goes into it is seriously amazing,, After much deliberation, we ordered the chicken steak rosé pasta (₩22,000) and sweet potato bacon pizza (₩22,000)!

Our order arrived (°0°)!! With the pasta, bread before the meal, and mango smoothie filling the table, the visuals were already amazing. We quickly took photos and started eating right away, haha.

Focaccia came as complimentary bread before the meal, and I dipped it in olive oil. It was soft and moist, and really got my appetite going before the main meal!

A big, beautifully browned chicken steak came right on top! The chicken steak was so tender, and it was absolutely delicious with the pasta. The rosé pasta sauce was thick and creamy with a slight kick, so it was not heavy at all?! It was so good that I scraped up every last bit of sauce with my spoon 🥄

Just look at that pizza with the cheese flowing down;; The sweet potato mousse and salty bacon were the ultimate sweet-and-salty combination..! Maybe because the dough is handmade and fermented in-house, it was chewy and light right through the crust, so I ate every bit, hehe.

The mango smoothie was as thick and sweet as the smoothies I had in Vietnam 💛🥭 It even had coconut jelly inside, so the texture was so good too,,? The owner totally gets it!! Agreed.

A sky garden and forest walk after the meal

From the brunch dishes to the drinks, I could feel the care in every item, so I was completely satisfied with both the taste and atmosphere!! With pretty photo spots and a sky garden, it was fun to take photos and look around too ✨ It would be perfect to finish the day by walking the Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest trail right in front after your meal!
