In short

Pino Cafe Cheonan is a brunch café in Pungse, Cheonan, Chungnam, with a vast outdoor garden. I visited with my mom for a drive, walked the garden, and shared brunch plates and truffle cream pasta. Verdict: a lovely spot to revisit with parents on a beautiful day.

Pino Cafe on a Pungse drive

I took a drive out to the outskirts of Cheonan with my mom for brunch and a little breath of crisp autumn air at Pino Cafe in Pungse~

Pino Cafe has an incredibly~~~ green, pretty, huge private garden! Since you need to order before entering the garden, I snapped the menu first.

You can receive a handmade egg tart by taking part in the Naver receipt-review event, so definitely join in~

Various croissant options are displayed beside the counter. I was already drooling, haha.

In front of the counter, there is a self-service packing station, water, wet wipes, and tableware.

This is the main building, where the counter is located. The wooden tables and chairs and brick-style interior are lovely. We came at lunchtime, and the natural light was amazing! During busy hours, there may not be a seat in the main building ㅠㅠ But there are tons of options in the annex and outdoors, so you can use those instead.

From flower beds to a stream in the 3,000-pyeong garden

Pino Cafe's outdoor garden is said to be about 3,000 pyeong. Hard to picture from a number alone, right? Haha, let’s look around together.

Pino Cafe's spacious outdoor garden

Honestly, when I saw the Pino Cafe building from outside, I never imagined such a huge garden would be behind it. The moment you step out the back of the café, this lush green view opens up! A wide flower field with a red windmill, reminiscent of the Netherlands, stretches out before you. I brought my mom, and she was so happy and took lots of photos! If I lived looking at views like this every day, my eyesight would improve on its own.

Dogs are welcome outdoors, too. A brunch café that dogs can enjoy alongside you~

Pino Cafe also offers a romantic campnic—camping plus a picnic. It would be great for getting that cozy camping feeling with your group, without the hard work of pitching a tent. Then again, maybe because the grounds are so big, there’s nothing they don’t have...! You can feel the owner’s thoughtful touch and hard work in the varied use of every corner.

You can feel the enormous scale just from the photos I’ve posted, right? It feels even bigger in person, with such a wonderful open atmosphere. In autumn, I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely!!!! recommend bringing your parents here~~~

Pino Cafe garden and the stream beside it

It’s so big that there’s even a stream beside it... insane. There was also a daisy field deeper in the garden. If you visit from spring to early summer, you should be able to see beautiful daisies, too. I need to come all the time this fall, then return next spring for a different view~

We went out into the garden thinking, “Let’s get a little fresh air while we wait for brunch~,” but it was much bigger than expected, with so much to see that we came back hungry, hahaha. There were so many guests, but the thoughtful owner somehow knew we had gone to see the garden, waited for us, and rang our pager the moment we sat down!

Brunch and pasta ordered at Pino Cafe

Rich truffle cream pasta and brunch

As you’d expect from a brunch place with such a reputation, the presentation is insane from the start. This is what two people ordered. We each finished a plate and shared the pasta. Total food-fighter mode!

Special Lunch

₩15,000. Scrambled eggs + salad + toasted croissant + sausage + fries/sauce. It’s the kind of full plate that comes to mind when you think of brunch. But everything was served so generously that the plating looked especially pretty. How happy would I be if someone made me breakfast like this every day.... The eggs were soft and easy to eat, while the croissant was crispy! Twice as delicious.

Croissant Sandwich Set

₩17,000. Croissant sandwich + salad + sausage + fried egg + fries. The sandwich is the star. It is loaded with mashed potato, tomato, and fresh vegetables. It tastes great and is wonderfully filling! The egg and sausage also round it out nicely with carbs and protein, haha.

Truffle Cream Pasta

₩16,000. This cream pasta could go toe-to-toe with a famous Italian restaurant!!! The cream sauce is super thick and rich. It also has a generous amount of finely chopped mushrooms, which gave it a great texture with the noodles. We ordered it thinking we might not have enough food if we each got only a plate, without huge expectations, but personally it was my favorite dish, hahaha. Highly recommended!!!

It is about a 20–30-minute drive from central Cheonan, making it perfect for a drive to the outskirts and brunch. Everyone, definitely visit when the weather is nice~
