Isn't the weather amazing these days, with that cool autumn breeze blowing in?! ☀️✨ Staying home under a sky this blue and pretty felt like such a waste, so my husband, our adorable pup, and I headed out to our favorite healing spot! 🍃🐶💖 This place is actually full of memories for us — we first came here with our dog on a freezing winter day, back when we were busy prepping for our wedding ❄️👩❤️👨
Back then in winter, I promised myself, 'Once the weather warms up and the sun's out, I'm definitely coming back for a proper brunch on the terrace!' — and this time I got to return with a new family member too. Hehe 💭✨

When you're driving out to the outskirts of Namyangju on a nice weekend, the thing that stresses me out the most is always parking..! 🚗
At MR, the parking area in front of the store is really, really spacious, so there's zero parking anxiety! 🅿️✨ Even less-experienced drivers like me can park with total ease, which puts me in a good mood every time I visit 👍
🏞️ River-view terrace seats with a dog (pets allowed! 🐶)
MR's terrace seats open right onto the Bukhan River view, and dogs are welcome there. We settled into the terrace to match the cool weather, and honestly, the view was pure healing... 🌊
✨ Just looking at it made all my everyday stress melt away 🍃 This! This is exactly what I wanted!!!
☕ And true to its reputation as a Namyangju dog-friendly café, we could enjoy a delicious meal with our pup on the terrace without worrying about anyone's stares — that alone made me so happy 🐶🐾💖
⚠️ Just so you know, for a safe and pleasant environment when bringing dogs, they kindly post basic pet etiquette guidelines — using a pet mat, a carrier or stroller, keeping leashes within 1 meter, and so on. It seemed like a great setup for everyone to enjoy their time while keeping things courteous! 😉✨

MR Namyangju Main Branch has its spaces well separated — if you're with kids, you can choose seating with baby chairs, and if you want quiet, you can pick the annex instead. I thought that was such a thoughtful, sensible touch! 💡
Baby chairs on hand: there are plenty of baby chairs available so families visiting with young children can eat comfortably too 👶🍼
The quiet annex (no kids & no pets): for anyone wanting an intimate date without kids or dogs around, or just a quiet cup of coffee while gazing at the river view, the annex is run separately as a no-kids, no-pets zone ☕📖 Being able to pick the space to match the mood you're after — that's a perfect score..! 💯

MR is a Namyangju favorite selected for the Blue Ribbon Survey in both 2025 and 2026. I noticed the sign by the counter — two years in a row, no less?! 🎀🏆✨ Definitely lives up to the word of mouth...👍
This time we ordered MR's signature dishes — the Mountain Burger and the vongole pasta — and split them 🍔🍝😋
Mountain Burger: it's a handmade burger, packed generously with juicy beef patty, fresh veggies, cheese, and more — no holding back on ingredients! Take a big bite and your mouth fills with flavor, pure art 🤤👍
Vongole pasta: loaded with clams, a slightly spicy but deeply savory oil sauce full of umami — it paired perfectly with the burger, which could've otherwise felt heavy 🍝✨ On top of that, both the owner and staff were so kind and warm the whole time, which made the meal even better 💖
