Lunch last order is 14:30 and dinner last order is 20:20. For parking, just park in the alleys around the restaurant 🚘

What the exterior and interior of Bueokgan Suwan look like

The exterior of Bueokgan Suwan stands out with its cool floor-to-ceiling windows and a green tarp. I put the address in my navigation and found it easily once I got into the right alley 😊

There are outdoor tables too, which look like a nice place to wait if there's a line 👍🏻

Not just the front but the side of Bueokgan is floor-to-ceiling glass too, so you get a great open view of Sumun 1 Park! The atmosphere is clean and bright, and the tables are spaced far enough apart that conversation wasn't disturbed at all. I personally found it interesting that they have dog-friendly seating — first time I've seen that at a brunch café 👀

Maybe because of the European style, even these little details are full of that European feel (*/ω＼*)

Bueokgan has soup, salad, pasta, pizza, steak and more — so many options that I spent a while deciding 🤭 We ordered the two-person set: mushroom grilled salad + shrimp rosé pasta + arugula prosciutto pizza + single orange + single grapefruit 🥗

The shrimp rosé pasta 🍝 and mushroom grilled salad 🥗 came out together.

🍝 The shrimp rosé pasta has shrimp and button mushrooms in it! The thick, creamy rosé sauce soaked well into the shrimp and noodles, so I got to enjoy the rich rosé flavor and shrimp taste even more (❁´◡`❁)

🥗 The mushroom grilled salad brings together fresh salad greens, grilled mini king oyster mushrooms and oyster mushrooms, cheese, and nut toppings with a balsamic dressing!

Arugula prosciutto pizza at Bueokgan Suwan

🍕 The arugula prosciutto pizza is a light, clean pizza with savory cheese, fresh arugula, and salty prosciutto. I wanted more, but we were so full we had to leave some — I still regret that a bit 🥲

Who is Bueokgan Suwan a good fit for?

Overall, the food at Bueokgan Suwan Branch wasn't heavily seasoned — light and clean dishes you can enjoy without feeling weighed down. I thought it would also be a great pick for a family meal with kids 👍🏻

Next time I visit, I want to try the abalone cream risotto, the truffle mushroom cream gnocchi, and a steak too 😻 Bueokgan is a brunch spot in the Suwan district that's held its ground steadily for six years 🍽️
