Italian-style interior and weekday daylight at Bueokgan Suwan
It's still such a pretty place. There's real fun in just looking around the interior — I got so absorbed while waiting for the food that I lost track of time :) It's so full of Italian vibes that I wanted to sit there like one of those Pinterest girls,, okay stop,,

What comes in Bueokgan's Couple Set B, and how much is it?
The menu at Bueokgan Suwan Branch ranges from single dishes to set menus where you can enjoy several items at once! Some items have extra charges, so please check the menu board I've laid out :)

I ordered the Couple Set B (₩51,000)! It comes with a salad, pasta or rice, pizza, and two drinks. I chose mushroom grilled salad / seafood tomato pasta / jambon pizza / single orange, grapefruit ade — for a total of ₩65,000 :)
Personally, if you come to Bueokgan, I really think you should try the jambon pizza, one of their signature dishes! Because it's totally my type haha! I didn't order it this time, but I also recommend the basil pesto cream pasta.
Grapefruit ade and single orange: the two set drinks

The ade came out fastest! I was a bit taken aback by how big the grapefruit chunks were haha, so I just dove right in.
The grapefruit syrup had settled at the bottom, so I stirred it well before drinking, and it was packed with grapefruit. Eat salad, slurp grapefruit bits, eat pasta, slurp grapefruit bits, eat jambon pizza, slurp grapefruit bits. It wasn't too sweet and paired perfectly with the other dishes. The single orange tasted like a sweet orange juice!
Mushroom grilled salad: the mushrooms hide under the greens

The mushroom grilled salad arrived. Vegetables piled high on top, but you can't see any mushrooms, right?
They're hiding right here 🫣 The mushrooms weren't grilled to a crisp, so their shape stayed intact, and the chewy texture of the king oyster and oyster mushrooms felt really nice.

The grilled mushrooms were soaked in olive oil and a salty dressing, but the seasoning wasn't too strong. Nuts like pistachios and grated cheese were sprinkled on top, and eating them together with the vegetables gave a fun crunchy texture — perfect as an appetizer!

How was the seafood tomato pasta at Bueokgan Suwan?
Next up, the seafood tomato pasta!

It had big chunks of oysters, clams, and shrimp! Because the seafood pieces were so large, there was zero fishy smell when eaten with the pasta, and the combination of sweet tomato sauce and seafood flavor worked so well together 🥹

Topping the jambon pizza with the mushroom salad
My favorite menu item — jambon pizza!

This is a wood-fired pizza with a thin crust, topped with honey, pistachios, and sun-dried tomatoes! The combination of the salty jambon and cheese, the sweetness of the honey, the umami of the sun-dried tomatoes, and the crunch of the pistachios was the kind of thing you could eat three slices of on the spot 🤤❤️ In reality, it wasn't small, so even two slices was tough,,

My friend with the long study experience told me to put the salad on top of the jambon pizza, and I smacked my forehead and did it. The salad dressing meeting the honey made the pizza even more delicious 😆✨️ What a delicacy, a delicacy indeed.
Why the set is fun: switching between pizza, pasta and salad
I wanted to taste a variety of Bueokgan's delicious dishes, so I tried Set Menu B! Since the salad, pasta, and pizza didn't overlap in flavor, it was fun switching between them ><

I had some free time on a weekday and finally visited Bueokgan Suwan Branch again after a while. With the full Pinterest vibe of the place and my favorite jambon pizza shared with people I like, it was quite a joyful time! I'd love to come back again. Thanks for the great meal today :)
