Jeonju foot soak café for walking recovery: Jeonmang
In short
Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is a foot soak café in Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeonju. After walking too much the day before, I arrived at opening time for an aroma foot soak, shoulder massage, free drink, and hanok-roof view before the next day’s plans. A lovely place to recharge during a walking-heavy Jeonju trip.

A must-do on a Jeonju trip is Jeonju Hanok Village, right? After parking and walking all over the place, my legs hurt and I wanted a rest, so I visited the unusual indoor date spot, the foot soak café “Jeonmang.”
I recommend this Jeonju Hanok Village café for when your legs hurt from walking too long, or for a mother-daughter trip!
Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang: Basic Information

An Indoor Activity for Resting While Exploring Jeonju Hanok Village

Lots of people get around on foot when traveling in Jeonju! Even if you have a car, the streets are car-free, so your legs really start to hurt if you keep walking. Foot soak cafés kept catching my eye whenever that happened, so I went to see just how much they could ease the fatigue.
Foot Soak and Drink Package

The aroma foot soak (jogyok) and shoulder massage listed in the details do not seem to be available separately. You receive the two as a basic set, then get a drink for free! A foot soak and a drink! 😍 Drinks are usually ₩4,000–₩5,000 these days, so if you think of the foot soak as costing around ₩10,000, it feels like a very reasonable price!
A Foot Soak with a Hanok Village View

First, change into slippers at the shoe cabinet at the very back, and use the changing room if you need it.

You can put your belongings in a locker. They are quite deep and long, so even a large parasol or big backpack fit inside.

I sat down with a wonderful view of Jeonju Hanok Village that made it clear why the café is called “Jeonmang,” meaning “view.”

There are so many seats that you can use it on weekends without much of a wait. I had walked far too much the day before, so I came right at opening to soak away that fatigue and tackle the day’s walking with energy. It was even nicer because there was no wait. It would be great to visit when walking gets tiring, but I also think it is a good choice for clearing away the previous day’s fatigue before taking on the next day’s itinerary.

At the Jeonju Hanok Village foot soak café “Jeonmang,” you can relax while looking out at the lovely view! I wrapped myself in a warm blanket and dipped my feet into warm water.

There is no need to worry about getting too hot—just freely use the fan on the desk.

Yoo Jae-suk had visited, so there was even a separate Yoo Jae-suk zone!

As I sat with my feet in the water, they brought over a shoulder massage device. You get the shoulder massage twice during the foot soak, so the timing worked out perfectly.

Choose your preferred aroma—peppermint, lavender, or rose—and enjoy your foot soak.

A foot soak in warm water gets your circulation going, so it is even better to do some hand acupressure to help it along. So good!

When I started to feel a little warm, I had a cool drink too!

If you get bored during the foot soak, try writing a Naver review. I drank warm tea to give myself a little more energy.

For an unusual indoor date activity and a healing course, spend some time at the Jeonju Hanok Village foot soak café “Jeonmang,” relaxing with coffee or tea. My legs felt lighter than I expected, which made that day’s itinerary feel less daunting and much nicer. My shoulders also felt lighter; giving the shoulders tired from carrying bags a rest made my whole body feel refreshed and energized.

An alarm goes off when the time is up, so dry off with the towel right beside you!

To finish, sit at the table and chairs set up behind the foot soak seats and apply some cream too—done~

If your old socks feel unpleasant after such a clean foot soak, you can buy and put on new socks right away 🧦 It was a great unusual date course or activity to visit when taking a break on a Jeonju trip with my mom, or when I had walked so much that I felt I simply could not walk anymore.
