Today's the day I finally get the perm I've been putting off forever! Getting a perm is refreshing, but somehow also such a hassle to actually go do haha. Time for a transformation! Here's my honest review of Eco Revi Hair & Spa in Gwangju Hanam 😆

It's on the 2nd floor of the building, so keep an eye out.

For parking, head to the back of the building where there's room for about 6–7 cars, or use the public parking lot next door or the street behind the building. Street parking on the road in front of the building is allowed 11:00–14:00 and after 18:00.
It's on the 2nd floor of the building! Go around to the back to park haha.

A consultation that starts with a scalp diagnosis
Once you arrive, they take you to a consultation room for a scalp diagnosis and a chat about the style you want. The designer I'd booked greeted me warmly the moment I walked in. She went through my scalp thoroughly, and I appreciated that she was honest about which styles wouldn't work for my hair.
A salon with its own separate scalp care room
Eco Revi Hair & Spa Gwangju Hanam Branch has a dedicated scalp care room, so you can get treated privately in either a 1-person or 2-person room! I imagine getting a refreshing scalp care session in there would feel really healing.
The styling area was spacious too, so I never felt cramped during the treatment.

If you book through Naver and it's your first visit, you get 30% off the treatment price, and if you pay for a scalp and hair clinic package at the salon, you get 20% off. Since healthy scalp means less hair loss and healthier hair, I think I should really commit to scalp care. They also offer night head spa sessions, which sounds great for office workers.
After the consultation, before starting the treatment, they offered me a drink, so I picked an iced americano.

My hair before the treatment, haha. From repeated perms, the ends were a bit damaged and there was still leftover curl. The tips were sticking out messily and the curls were all over the place, sticking outward in every direction — a nightmare to manage. I was so curious how the perm would turn out haha, my heart was racing with anticipation. She kept chatting with me throughout so it never got boring, and explained the condition of my hair and the products she was using really thoroughly. She seemed like a genuinely meticulous person.
Finished with a thick but natural wave
From messy, sticking-out hair to a clean, natural wave!! I'd considered a soft C-curl, but when I mentioned I might want a bit more curl, wow — the curl came out exactly the way I wanted. I'd asked for something with body — not too thin or too tight a curl, but a thick wave that still looked natural — and she caught exactly what I meant with such precision!!
I loved it so, so much, and styling afterward was so easy too. Just drying my scalp brought the curls right back to life. Beyond satisfied!!! 😍 Thank you so much to the designer at Eco Revi Hair & Spa Gwangju Hanam Branch for doing such a beautiful job on my hair ♥ I'll be back in a month for a cut.
