I went to Yuyu Shabu, a well-known spot in Naju Innovation City!
My family and I come here pretty often,

and since the vegetables are all-you-can-eat too, you get a really reasonable deal — genuinely a shabu-shabu spot in Naju I'd recommend.
Where to park at Yuyu Shabu Naju Innovation City branch
At Yuyu Shabu Naju Innovation City branch, just move the traffic cone aside and park on the 2nd floor of the building parking lot! From the 3rd floor up it's hotel parking, and they support up to 1 hour there.
If you can, please park in the nearby alley or on the 2nd floor — it'd be appreciated!!
Yuyu Shabu menu and half-and-half shabu price: 19,000 won per person

- Yuyu Shabu (per person): 18,000 won (includes house tarae sauce and noodles)
- Basic Shabu (per person): 16,000 won (includes noodles)
- Half-and-Half Shabu (per person): 19,000 won (choice of two broths)
Yuyu Shabu — 18,000 won. The restaurant's signature dish, letting you enjoy fresh vegetables and meat together in a light broth.
Half-and-Half Shabu — 19,000 won. The ambitious menu item that lets you taste two broths (spicy/beef bone) at once.
Hinoki Steamed Set — 48,000 won (for 2, includes mini shabu). Light meat and fresh steamed vegetables infused with fragrant hinoki cypress aroma, plus a mini shabu on the side.
Octopus karaage — 7,000 won. A house-made fried dish where the octopus's natural flavor and chewy texture shine through a thin, crispy batter.
Add 5,000 won for a shabu set + one side fried item + egg porridge for one (king prawn tempura, chicken karaage, pork cutlet, fried dumplings, octopus karaage).
I ordered the half-and-half shabu, picking both broths!
Inside Yuyu Shabu: table seating and the private room for 8
Clean wood interior, starting from tables for two,

all the way up to plenty of 4-seat tables — that's Yuyu Shabu, a well-known spot in Naju Innovation City.

In the center, there's a nicely organized self-serve bar!

Mushrooms and vegetables are all-you-can-eat at Yuyu Shabu, a well-known Naju Innovation City spot ^^

The space is split left and right around a central kitchen, so it uses the space efficiently,

and I could eat with a more private feel.

There's also a private room set up that fits 8 or more people.
There were two rooms prepared, one on each side! It seems like it would be great for group dinners or lunches too.

How to eat the half-and-half shabu, from broth to closing porridge
- Boil the broth.
- If you want a spicier flavor, adding Vietnamese chili powder makes it even more delicious.
- Once the broth starts boiling, add the fish cake and shrimp.
- Add the various vegetables and mushrooms, and once the vegetables are about cooked, add the meat and eat it with the sauce.
- Finish with the delicious porridge!!
I whisked the house tarae sauce hard together with egg yolk, and eating it with the finishing porridge or the meat was just right!!

Each table has chili sauce and vinegar-gochujang ready, so it was nice to refill sauces right away.

Yuyu Shabu, a well-known Naju Innovation City spot, serves this pretty plated spread!

Fresh mushrooms, fish cake skewers, shrimp, plus vegetables and meat — such a hearty combination.
Chewy noodles to enjoy at the end of the meal are also provided ^^

Since the vegetables are all-you-can-eat too, you can just grab as much as you want, which is even better haha

There are three types of side dishes provided!

The nutty tarae sauce combo was so good, and the chili and peanut sauces have a flavor that keeps growing on you the more you eat!

The shabu-shabu comes not just with vegetables but with plenty of toppings like fish cake, squash, rice cake sticks, shrimp and more, making it even more filling!!
And of course the finish is the savory porridge and noodles! The vegetable stock meets the broth and the flavor gets even deeper and richer~~ 💚

If you're looking for a great spot to eat in Naju Innovation City, I really, truly recommend having a hearty meal at Yuyu Shabu ⭐️🧡
