My husband and I were trying to figure out what to have for dinner when suddenly jokbal (charcoal-grilled pig trotters) sounded so good. Whenever that happens, the place we think of first is Kkankkanhan Jokbal, our go-to jokbal restaurant in Yongbong-dong. It's always good no matter when we eat it, so we headed straight there again without a second thought. We ordered the lovers' set, big enough for two to eat plenty, and it was satisfying as always.

The makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) couldn't be skipped either. It was tangy and spicy, a perfect match with the jokbal.
