Chaper Hair Uijeongbu has such a great location! It's close to the station and right in the main commercial area, so it's super easy to find.
Take the elevator up to the 3rd floor of the Romi Story building and you're greeted by a spacious, comfortable salon
The warm wood-toned interior with soft lighting felt so healing the whole time I was there — plus it's pet-friendly and there's even a dedicated kids' chair.
The staff greeted me super kindly the moment I walked in, and neatly stored my coat and bag for me 💗 The waiting area is nice and spacious too, so it's comfortable while waiting, and there's room even if you come with a friend!

I'd already booked specifically with designer Yejin through Naver beforehand. She helped with the consultation right there in the waiting area. I brought a reference photo, and she suggested a style that suited me perfectly!!
I decided on the trendy layered cut line for the cut, plus volume magic straightening! The level of detail — even discussing exact length based on the photo — was seriously impressive..

Oh, and let me mention something I loved first! When booking, since I tend to be a bit shy around strangers, I chose the 'quiet service' option
and she really only asked the necessary questions and did the whole treatment quietly — I was so grateful for that!

The curl was totally droopy and just so messy, right ㅠ This is the hair that had me debating for a whole month whether to just cut it or get it straightened.
After washing my hair, she applied the straightening solution! I loved how thoroughly she applied it!
After the solution went on, it was time to wait through heat processing! I think it was around 15 minutes!
At Chaper Hair, this hair salon near Uijeongbu Station, they set out snacks and coffee on a side table while you wait, so I wasn't bored at all — snacking while I waited.
After the shampoo, my hair was already dead straight!!! So amazing! Now she started the cut, following the design plan ㅎ
Just from the cut alone ㅎ I already loved it — got my hopes up~
Final step! Curling the ends inward with an iron, then the neutralizing process! Designer Yejin's touch was so gentle throughout — zero scalp irritation, and she generously added nutrient care to prevent hair damage. Seriously the best! 🤤

The moment I looked in the mirror I thought, 'is this really my hair?' — I loved it that much!!!!! With the nutrient care added in, my hair felt like silk with a gentle C-curl from the volume magic straightening!
