After a day of playing at LEGOLAND, we had dinner at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch. It's about a 15–20 minute drive from LEGOLAND, an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet located on the basement level of Jiseok-ro in Chuncheon.

As a LEGOLAND annual pass holder, I go to Chuncheon LEGOLAND so often now that I basically feel like a local — but honestly, eating inside LEGOLAND? There just isn't that much to choose from.

Especially when you're there with a kid, you want a proper meal after playing all day, and since it closes around 6pm, eating dinner outside is way better. So this time we drove about 15–20 minutes from LEGOLAND to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch for dinner.

Inside QooQoo Chuncheon Branch: size, kids' café and the 10% birthday discount

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is on the basement level, and the space was bigger than I expected. Plenty of tables, so it looked fine for families and also for group meals or gatherings. One of the main reasons we picked this place — there's a kids' café right inside the restaurant!

They also offer a 10% discount for birthdays. Worth keeping in mind if you happen to visit around your birthday. That's the kind of discount you don't want to miss out on, haha.

Sushi, rolls, meat and fried dishes: how good is this Chuncheon sushi buffet?

The moment we walked in, there was seriously a huge variety of food. That's the strength of QooQoo — tons of buffet options. Sushi, rolls, salad, meat, fried dishes and more, so much that I paused for a second wondering what to eat first, haha.

I was in a sushi mood that day, so I dug into the sushi first. Lots of variety and tastier than expected — though maybe it tasted even better because I was starving after wandering LEGOLAND all day, haha.

Still, overall the food quality was better than the typical cheap-buffet feel, which was satisfying. If you love sushi, this is worth a try when you're looking for an all-you-can-eat sushi spot in Chuncheon.

It's not just sushi — there's a good variety of salads too, along with meat and fried dishes, so everyone could pick what they wanted. A buffet is honestly the easiest option when a family has different tastes. Everyone just grabs what they like.

Dessert corner at QooQoo: patbingsu, marble ice cream and waffles

For families with kids, there's a lot to love here. You can make your own patbingsu (red bean shaved ice), plus there's marble ice cream, slushies, and waffles — our kid's eyes went wide, haha haha. I genuinely couldn't tell if we came here for dinner or dessert.

After discovering the marble ice cream especially, our kid got so excited running back and forth — and with the kids' café right there, it was eat, play, snack, play, on repeat, haha. Thanks to that, we got to eat our own meal slowly too.

When you go to a buffet with a kid, usually the parents have to take turns watching them, but having a separate play space made things noticeably easier.

Kebabs at QooQoo are made on request — and we missed them

There was a kebab station too. Kebabs are made to order if you ask a staff member, but I was too caught up in sushi that day and never got to try it, haha. It looked pretty good, so I'm thinking of starting with the kebab next time. If you visit, give it a try.

Why QooQoo Chuncheon Branch works with a young child

The best part of the day was that after playing at the kids' café, our kid ate way better than usual. Normally our kid eats really slowly and finishing a meal is a struggle, but after running around and having fun, the meal went much better than usual. Guess kids really do need to burn off energy first, haha.

Eating inside LEGOLAND is one option, but personally, I think it's better to play to your heart's content at LEGOLAND, wait for closing, then head to a nearby restaurant.

Since LEGOLAND closes around 6pm, if you're wondering where to have dinner after LEGOLAND, driving 15–20 minutes to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is a solid choice. The kid gets to play and the adults get to eat comfortably — pretty good for a family visit.

Honest verdict on the Chuncheon sushi buffet

You might assume QooQoo has a lot of food variety but so-so taste, but honestly the food here was better than expected. It didn't feel like a cheap buffet — the taste overall was solid, so I was quite satisfied. Being a sushi fan, I made sure to eat plenty of sushi, haha.

Since getting the LEGOLAND annual pass, I've been coming to Chuncheon often and slowly learning which restaurants near LEGOLAND are worth it — and when looking for somewhere to eat with a kid, a buffet with a kids' café built in is definitely convenient.
