Inside Hoot: wood interior and high ceilings

The inside of Hoot centers around wood interior details and high ceilings. Once you open the door and step in, a completely different space unfolds compared to outside 😍 The warm wood interior wraps around the whole space, and the moment I walked in, I just felt at ease 👍

The high ceiling and exposed wooden rafters weren't stuffy at all — they gave off a relaxed vibe.

The plants scattered throughout, paired with the warm wood tones, gave the space a bright feel ♡~♡

Honestly it kind of felt like being in an art gallery too 😁

Hoot menu and prices: only one chocolate fudge left

Hoot's desserts are Brownie (+ice cream) ₩8,000, Pecan Pie ₩4,500, and Chocolate Fudge ₩3,000, but when I visited there was only one chocolate fudge left. Sad news — only one dessert left..🫢🥹 There were a lot of customers when I got there, and I guess word had already spread that this place is a dessert hotspot, because everything was sold out except one chocolate fudge..

There were plenty of menu options, but to really taste the coffee itself, we ordered an Americano with bright acidity and the last remaining chocolate fudge 🙆‍♀️

Hoot's iced Americano: how tart is the acidity?

Hoot's iced Americano (bright acidity) filled my mouth with vivid tartness from the very first sip. The moment I took a sip — wow, the coffee here is amazing 👍👍 That bright, floral acidity spread through my whole mouth, totally my type of coffee 👍👍

Officially calling this an all-time great iced Americano! 👍👍

If you like coffee with bright acidity, I highly, highly recommend trying this one!!!

Chocolate fudge at Hoot: looks like bread, tastes chewy

Hoot's chocolate fudge (₩3,000) looks like a soft, fluffy brownie, but it's actually got a chewy, cookie-like texture. Just looking at it, I imagined a soft, fluffy brownie-style bread, but the moment I took a bite, the surprise twist caught me off guard 🫢

It's dense and chewy yet sweet, with a chocolate flavor that fills your mouth — the texture was genuinely unique 😋

Eating it together with the tart Americano was especially good — the coffee's bright acidity and the chocolate's sweetness paired really well ♡~♡

Is Hoot worth a coffee stop after shopping at Jungang Market?
