For the weekend, the whole family went out together for a family meal at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, a well-known sushi buffet spot in Chuncheon! I was half worried, half excited about whether it would work out with our baby, but it turned out to be way more comfortable and satisfying than I expected. I hope this helps anyone looking for a Chuncheon dining spot that's good to visit with kids.

Spacious, bright interior of the QooQoo Chuncheon Branch hall

Once inside, the space was much bigger and more pleasant than I expected! The lighting was bright throughout and everything was kept clean, which made a great first impression. The atmosphere was lively yet tidy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed family meal. 😊

Sushi, rolls, soy-marinated shrimp and salmon jang

The first thing I brought back from QooQoo Chuncheon Branch was a full plate of sushi and rolls. Now that the tour is done, let's dig into a whole plate of sushi first~ 🍣

There were so many varieties that I fell into a happy dilemma about what to eat first. Just looking at it makes your mouth water, right? Let's dig in! 😋

The moment I popped a sauce-drizzled roll into my mouth, it just melted away. Alright, let's really start exploring the buffet! 🍣✨

From rolls to sushi, this spread makes your mouth water just looking at it, right? It was packed with dishes that anyone, young or old, would love, so I dove right in! 😋

Beyond bacon sushi, hanwoo (Korean beef) sushi, and sashimi sushi, there was truly a wide variety of sushi prepared! 🍣 It was perfect for a family with different tastes, since everyone could pick what suited them. Picking and choosing was half the fun at QooQoo Chuncheon!

The soy sauce shrimp and salmon jang (soy-marinated salmon) weren't salty and had that irresistible pull that kept me picking at them in between sushi bites. Doesn't this look like it would make you finish a whole bowl of rice?

A bowl of hot udon with broth

Udon, shrimp dishes and the steamed oyster and clam hot food bar

At the hot food corner of QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, we grabbed udon, shrimp dishes, steamed oysters and clams, and stir-fried udon. After running through delicious sushi, you can't skip udon to warm up your stomach!

The moment I took a sip of the broth, it warmed me up all the way through—the perfect finish. I guess a warm noodle dish really is the highlight of any buffet course. It was a truly hearty, satisfying meal!

A glossy shrimp dish

The shrimp dish in particular looked so glossy and appetizing that I grabbed the tongs the moment I saw it. The shell was tender and the seasoning was just right, so I really enjoyed it. There were plenty of other dishes prepared generously too, so picking based on preference was half the fun.

The hot food corner was also packed with fresh seafood dishes! The steamed oysters and clams in particular were so clean-tasting and savory with no fishy smell at all that I lost count of how many times I went back for more. Add the spicy-sweet stir-fried udon on the side, and it was a full-on seafood party.

Chicken and sweet and sour pork at the buffet corner

Chicken, sweet and sour pork and the salad corner our child loved

If you're visiting with kids, don't miss the chicken and sweet and sour pork corner at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch. Right next to the hot food section was chicken and sweet and sour pork that kids absolutely love—the batter was crispy and the sauce sweet, making it hard to stop reaching for more. The quality was every bit as good as a dedicated chicken restaurant, so we really enjoyed it.

A buffet just isn't complete without a salad corner, right? There were fresh, crisp vegetables along with various dressings and salad types, all neatly arranged.

It's great for lightly whetting your appetite before the heavier main dishes, and just as good for cutting through the richness in between courses. The freshness was clear just by looking at it, so I felt well taken care of throughout the whole course. There's clearly a reason this place is loved as a family dining spot in Chuncheon!

Dessert corner: fruit, mini corn dogs and bakery items

The dessert corner at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch was well stocked with fresh fruit, mini corn dogs that kids love, and a variety of bakery items. After a meal, sweet dessert time is a must!

In particular, the smell of freshly baked bread stirred my appetite again even though I was already full.

I filled my plate with nothing but the good stuff! 🍽️

A plate piled high with buffet food

With so much to eat, from sushi to hot food to dessert, every plate I brought back ended up piled sky-high.

An empty plate left on the dining table

Everything suited our taste so well that we cleaned our plates completely—it was a truly happy mealtime. 😊
