Chuncheon sushi buffet ₩32,900 weekend lunch and T map parking: QooQoo

I was craving sushi so badly in Chuncheon before giving birth that we went to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, famous as a sushi all-you-can-eat spot in Chuncheon ~ ><

My husband and I went together for weekend lunch, and by the time we left he said, "Next time let's come hungrier," that's how satisfied we were haha. Let me break down the price, parking and menu lineup, nothing left out!

Where is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, and how do you register 3 hours of free parking?

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is at 80 Jiseok-ro, B1, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do. It's in the basement of the building with the CGV IMAX theater!

There's a sign in the parking lot that says "Chuncheon Branch is on B1," so we didn't get lost even on our first visit ~ Parking is always a worry at buffets, right? This place has a building lot with room for up to 500 cars, so there was no circling around looking for a spot. We parked on B3 and took the elevator straight up ~ Using QooQoo gets you up to 3 hours free parking!

You register your parking on the T map Parking screen at the store entrance. Enter your plate's last digits, select the 3-hour free voucher, then hit discount — that's it. Make sure you see the "discount registration complete" screen! If you leave without settling, it's on you and there's no refund. Three hours is plenty for a buffet, so just having that sorted put my mind at ease haha.

Opening hours and how long can you stay?

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is open daily 11:30–21:30, last order at 20:30. Phone number is 033-269-7004.

The made-to-order noodle corner closes at 20:50 ~ Weekday dinner starts at 17:00. September 25 is closed for Chuseok, so keep that in mind before visiting ~ :)

Dining time is 1 hour 30 minutes! They said the time limit may apply when there's a wait, so if you want to eat at a relaxed pace, I'd recommend going right at opening time!

Exterior and interior — 180 seats, a kids' café and a sink

There's a Catch Table waiting kiosk at the entrance! We got seated right away with no wait, but when it's busy you register your wait there haha. Discount notices are posted all along the glass door, so take a look before you go in ~

Right as you walk in, the ceiling lights are warmly lit and each corner has its own sign hanging above it ~ Just glancing at the signs told me what was where, which I loved!

Seating goes up to 180 seats, so it's genuinely spacious! There are lots of partitioned booth seats, so we could eat comfortably without worrying about the next table. Along the wall there's a long row of sofa seating too, and lots of families were there ~

Here's something great for anyone with kids ~ there's a QooQoo kids' café inside the restaurant! It even has a slide and a tunnel, and kids were having a blast haha.

High chairs are also stocked in plenty :)

There's a separate hand-washing sink inside the store, so you don't even need to go to the restroom, which was convenient,

and right next to it are disposable aprons! No worrying about splashing your clothes ~ It's a CESCO White Members-certified store, so I could tell they pay close attention to hygiene haha.

Getting seated and the table setup

Since it's all-you-can-eat, you get seated and just go get food :) The table has QooQoo Food Party paper laid down, and they'll bring the check.

Spoons, forks and chopsticks are set up separately by the buffet corner, along with hygiene gloves ~

There's an allergen information sign too, worth checking if you're dining with kids :)

We visited on a weekend lunch, so it was ₩32,900 per person — ₩65,800 total for the two of us :)

What's on the buffet? About 120 dishes from sushi to BBQ, jjamppong and dessert

True to its reputation as a Chuncheon all-you-can-eat sushi spot, there are about 120 dishes >< One lap around the corners and you really feel it haha.

Sushi and rolls

First we loaded up on sushi and rolls. Salmon sushi, white fish sushi, shrimp sushi, beef sushi, a little of everything ~ The salmon had visible grain and vivid color, nutty and soft. The white fish sushi was clean and light, so I could eat several without feeling heavy, and the shrimp sushi was plump with a nice springy bite haha.

The crab-stick-topped inari sushi (fried tofu pouch sushi) was sweet and moist — my husband's favorite. Taco wasabi gunkan, bulgogi mayo gunkan, chicken roll, pork cutlet roll, salmon roll — the chefs kept making fresh batches and restocking. There's real wasabi and soy sauce set aside too, so be sure to add them when you eat your sushi!

The BBQ corner

Can't skip the newly added BBQ corner! Smoked pork belly is golden and crisp outside, juicy inside, with a real smoky char. There's LA galbi, lamb ribs, buffalo sticks, stir-fried seafood sausage, grilled vegetables, plus tortillas, sauces and pickles so you can wrap your own.

Hot dishes and fried food

There's a great range of warm dishes too haha. Whole grilled shrimp, bite-sized steak, nurungji kkwabaegi (crispy rice sweet-and-sour pork), stir-fried noodles, and mushroom pie soup topped with crispy pastry so it looks like soup wearing a hat. Gomtang (bone broth soup) and pumpkin porridge were perfect for settling the stomach.

The fried corner has french fries, snow crab leg tempura, bread shrimp tempura, and takoyaki! I loaded my plate with cream pasta, fried shrimp, kkwabaegi, takoyaki and cheese hamburg steak. The fried shrimp was crispy with chewy flesh, the kkwabaegi was sweet-and-sour and chewy. The cream pasta was thick and nutty, great between bites of sushi.

Made-to-order noodles — the jjamppong was the real deal

There's a made-to-order noodle station too ~ you can choose from naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles), pho, udon, miso soup, jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), jjajangmyeon, or cold soba, and I got jjamppong. It was loaded with clams, squid and bamboo shoots, with a spicy, refreshing broth. I never expected jjamppong like this from a buffet haha.

Seafood and the salad bar

The seafood corner has salmon, boiled octopus, whelk, soy sauce shrimp, salmon jang (soy-marinated salmon), and hantchi mulhoe (spicy raw squid soup). The salad bar has caprese, mixed nuts, olives, sweet pumpkin salad, yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare), and geotjeori (fresh kimchi), so there was never a heavy moment.

Desserts and drinks, including patbingsu

You need to save room for dessert. Red velvet roll, chocolate cake, green tea crepe, castella, choux pastry, and plenty of fruit — orange, mango, dragon fruit, passion fruit, pineapple, kiwi ~ There are 7 flavors of ice cream, 4 kinds of marble ice cream, soft serve, and waffles! Patbingsu toppings are set out separately so you can build your own shaved ice, and dipping fruit in the chocolate fondue was fun too haha.

Drinks include soda, Jeju tangerine juice, ube bubble tea, sikhye (sweet rice drink), and slushies, plus a coffee machine for Americano, café latte, cappuccino and hot chocolate. Finishing with a cup of coffee was the perfect ending ~

Restrooms, family amenities and group bookings

The restrooms are outside the store, follow the signs in the corridor. Wi-Fi connects instantly by scanning a QR code.

First birthday parties, family events, and all kinds of gatherings are possible, with group bookings up to 50 people! Groups of 10+ also get a discount, so if you're looking for a gathering spot, keep this in mind!

At the entrance they also sell QooQoo herbal tea, kombucha, and coffee beans :)

Is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch worth it? Final verdict

We left QooQoo Chuncheon Branch completely full and happy! With about 120 dishes, a BBQ corner, made-to-order noodles, and dessert, plus up to 3 hours free parking, a kids' café, high chairs, and a nursing room, every detail was covered so we could eat comfortably haha.

It works well for a couple's date, family dining, eating with kids, or a group gathering ~ There are weekday discounts in September, so if you can come on a weekday, don't miss it, and don't forget to register your parking before you leave!
