Where is Hôtel de Couture in Yeonnam-dong?

Hôtel de Couture is a pasta place tucked in the alleys of Yeonnam-dong, at 7 Donggyo-ro 46-gil, 101-ho, 1.5F, Mapo-gu, Seoul. It's open daily from 11:00 to 20:00, with last order at 19:00.

Today's revisit to Hôtel de Couture in Hongdae — I have such good memories from coming here with friends before! I was in Hongdae for a photo shoot, and since my sister and I were doing dinner together and I was craving pasta, we ended up here again.

If you head out Exit 3 near Olive Young toward the Yeonnam-dong street and walk toward the Hollys Coffee side, it's much easier to find haha.

Inside Hôtel de Couture: atmosphere and seating

The overall atmosphere is really pretty ~ such a great date spot! Everything was delicious and the vibe was great the last time I came, so I'd been wanting to come back, and this time I got a great opportunity to. The place is actually bigger, but every remaining seat was already taken by other guests, so I only photographed the empty spots haha.

Hôtel de Couture menu and how table ordering works

* Hôtel de Couture's menu * (swipe through) You order using table order here haha. They have steak / pasta / French toast on the menu. Apparently most people order the French toast alongside their meal too haha.

Even the water bottle is really pretty, and the staff have been kind both times I've come, which I love. Went with zero-sugar cola for my health this time!!

Honey whole bacon rosé pasta, 18,000 won

Such a pretty-looking pasta ^^ Topped with whole bacon, rosé sauce, cheese, and arugula — the highlight is that thick, rich rosé sauce haha.

There's no pasta place I love as much as this one haha. Because I had such good memories from my last visit, I came back — and ordered this exact pasta again. It's so good I want to eat it again already ~

On top of that, this place is actually run together with Heyjozi! I personally love Heyjozi's salads and pasta and go there a lot, and I guess our tastes just line up, because I also really love Hôtel de Couture's pasta!!! Since it's a place I'd loved before, I brought my sister here haha.

The house-made pickles are clean and tasty too, great for cutting through the richness when things get a bit heavy.

Jambon truffle cream risotto, 16,000 won

My favorite — truffle risotto! I usually love cream and truffle so I order this kind of dish a lot haha. I even buy truffle oil separately to cook with at home, that's how much I love cream and rich cream sauces!

There's fresh jambon ham on top, which made it even better ~ and an egg yolk on top too for extra richness. The arugula pairs really well with it haha.

And this risotto has risotto oats mixed in, so there's this little pop-in-your-mouth texture that makes it even more delicious haha. This place is kind of famous for risotto, so it's a dish I really wanted to order haha.

Is Hôtel de Couture worth a dinner visit?

The overall vibe is calm, and the interior is upscale and lovely, making it a great date spot haha.
