After work, my sister and I wanted a proper catch-up dinner date, so I went looking for a Gangnam dining bar and booked this place — People the Terrace 💚

The weather was so good that day I insisted on a terrace table, and it turned out to be a total win :)

A huge dining bar across 4 floors and 300 pyeong, with a fountain

People the Terrace turned out to be a massive dining bar — 4 floors, 300 pyeong, seating up to 500 people 🤍 There's a fountain right in the middle, which makes the atmosphere genuinely gorgeous..✨

This Gangnam spot can also be rented out as a private venue, and apparently it's popular for Gangnam birthday parties, corporate events, weddings, and after-parties!

Book the terrace seats in advance

We'd reserved ahead through Naver, so we walked straight in with zero wait :) I requested terrace seating when booking and they placed us perfectly — check-in was smooth all the way through. Given how busy Gangnam dining gets in the evenings, I'd really recommend reserving ahead! 💛

Our terrace table felt like an open rooftop space, so the breeze moved through nicely 🙊

The menu and QR ordering

There was a physical menu at the table too — happy hour sets, house wine, steaks, risottos, salads, mango bingsu (shaved ice dessert), and more. A really varied Gangnam terrace dining lineup 🤍

Ordering was simple via the table QR code! Scan with your phone, browse the menu, and add items straight away — super convenient :)

After much deliberation, we ordered the dish we were craving most — pomodoro basil pesto pasta, the mushroom cream truffle risotto steak, and a lemonade 🍋💛

We got a lemonade to drink — it was pale white and tasted bright and refreshing, perfect for cutting through the richness between bites of pasta and risotto!

Pomodoro basil pesto pasta

The pomodoro basil pesto pasta uses a sauce made from crushed fresh tomatoes, with mozzarella cheese and basil pesto mixed in — tangy-sweet with a nutty depth that stuck in my head!! The noodles had good bounce and it looked beautiful too, great for photos. So. Good.😋

Mushroom cream truffle risotto steak

The mushroom cream truffle risotto steak is a porcini mushroom cream base sautéed with various mushrooms, topped with a Korean beef 1++ steak — creamy, with a deep mushroom aroma 🙊

The steak was soft and juicy, and eating it together with the risotto made the combo even better. Also incredibly good! My sister and I kept marveling as we ate 🥹🤍

Prices at this Gangnam dining spot: pasta and risotto dishes run ₩27,000-39,000, and steaks run ₩88,000-125,000! Also worth noting — corkage is not allowed here, so keep that in mind.
