Fresh pasta in Cheongdam-dong: Pepite

Why have I been craving fresh pasta so much lately?! You know there are fewer places that do fresh pasta well than you’d think, right??? So when I heard there was a great pasta spot in Cheongdam-dong, I went straight there > < Pepite.

Pepite is famous as a Gangnam date spot, a place for Gangnam work dinners, and a Cheongdam-dong pasta restaurant too! I just love this kind of atmosphere~~~~

They do fresh pasta so well, along with starters, main dishes, and all that! I ate so happily, seriously hahaha.

Pepite is about a 10-minute walk from Apgujeong Rodeo Station, but I brought my car because I had plans after lunch! So what do you do if you drive to Pepite?! You use the valet. It’s ₩5,000 for two hours! It varies by vehicle type, and there are additional charges for extra time, so keep that in mind. Search for 13 Dosan-daero 85-gil for valet parking.

Sometimes while you’re eating, you wonder what exactly you’re tasting, right? Or is that just me?

At Pepite, they explain in detail which ingredients are in each dish and how it is made. I loved that haha. It had been a while since I’d had delicious pasta, so I was in such a good mood.

A stylish space with a terrace and private rooms

Pepite, this Cheongdam-dong pasta spot, has such stylish, pretty interiors too. Of course, I was dining alone..! But when I come back for a Gangnam date, eating on the terrace would be lovely! The weather is so nice lately, so we have to enjoy days like this haha. Pepite’s terrace is pretty, so I really recommend it for couples.

First, my overall verdict... I loooove Pepiteㅠㅠㅠ It was so good that I want to go again ㅠㅠㅠ

How was the cod ravioli?

Pepite’s cod ravioli is made with beurre blanc, cod, mashed potatoes, and tosaz (Japanese-style bonito). Since it’s fresh ravioli, the pairing with the sauce was so good—Pepite’s cod ravioli is a Cheongdam favorite!!!

I think it was even more delicious because the ravioli was absolutely soaked in sauce. There was cod inside the ravioli too, and its savory saltiness made the flavors richer with the fresh pasta! So delicious~~~

Ah, the ravioli sauce here was seriously creamy and delicious haha. So I ate the sauce and ravioli together with a spoon. It’s even better that way hahaha. The cod was moist and tasty, so I think the cod steak would be delicious too haha. Pepite really is a great Cheongdam-dong restaurant.

Whetting the appetite with fig caprese

The fig caprese is a starter. It’s an appetizer, but figs are the star! Fall means figs! They’re in season these days~ The figs that day were less sweet than I expected ㅠㅠ so that was a little disappointing, but it was nice and refreshing.

Pepite’s fig caprese is a refreshing starter with figs, tomatoes, fennel, Comté cheese, and tosaz cream!

Cleanse your palate with a starter, then have fresh pasta—it makes everything even more, more, more delicious haha.

Maybe because I went at such an awkward time, it felt as if I had the whole restaurant to myself..! Pepite’s interiors and atmosphere were so nice that I wanted to stay forever ㅠㅠㅠ Totally my style ㅠㅠㅠ

I also took a quick look at Pepite’s wine list, and they had lots of nice wines! If I’d had wine too, I would have stayed longer—such a shame ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

There are lots of other menu items too! But since I was dining alone, I ordered only a starter and pasta ㅠㅠ Next time I’ll go with a friend and eat a ton. And of course, my friend will pay! Hahahaha. Pepite also has private rooms, so if you’d like to use one, you can reserve it with a room charge~ I think it’s great that you can dine privately too!
