Back when tigers smoked cigarettes... hahaha. Horangigul first opened near Beomgye Station, and we waited an absolutely absurdly long time for its famous beef small-intestine and daechang hot pot. Horangigul Gwacheon Branch visit details and parking

It is at 101, 1F, 36 Saesulmak-gil, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 to 23:00, with a break from 15:00 to 17:00, and closed every Sunday.

When we arrived, the street-side public parking lot was full, so we parked right in front at KT Gwacheon Smart Tower-! After our meal + beer + coffee, the parking came to about ₩4,000♡

Once you get to Horangigul, you can join the waitlist through Tabling. We were super lucky and sat down right away! But who am I??? A person who brings crowds wherever she goes... lol. The second we sat down, people came flooding in and it filled up~ Anyway... the owners must be happy... I bring customers with me wherever I go.

Horangigul's beef small-intestine/daechang hot pot is the main menu, but they also have discounted set lunches by day of the week-(◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。Seems perfect for Gwacheon office workers!

Ordering beef offal hot pot and chicken-skin gyoza

We met after work and were very hungry... Once you are seated, order from the menu by QR code.

They say they will add extra meat as a service if you leave a Naver review while ordering! But we needed rice too, and Mr. Gyoza Lover wanted chicken-skin gyoza as well... so we gave up the extra meat... hahaha.

Ah, I am supposed to lose weight... so I should not drink beer... But how can you not drink with this warmly spicy beef offal hot pot?! I immediately had a glass of draft beer ˃ᴗ˂

Before the hot pot, first a drink and then, haha, a little palate cleanser of garlic scapes. Garlic scapes are insanely good... I am a true Korean palate: lover of garlic, onions, and kimchi.

How spicy is the medium hot pot?

A staff member comes over, sets a timer, and then appears again once it is evenly cooked lol. Waiting 7 minutes... is so hard for me. (　³﹏³ ).。o

Ah... crazy. So crazy. Once it has boiled for a while, eat the tofu and vegetables first! Let it cook another 2–3 minutes, then eat the meat, daechang, and small intestine. We ordered medium, and anything hotter would have been too spicy! Medium is seriously just right... nicely fiery and delicious. Order rice too and eat it with the broth—it is amazing. Now, gyoza time-(՞•🐽•՞)

The outside is super crispy, the inside is packed--with meat, and the juices burst out- There is cabbage and sauce underneath too, and wrapping them together makes it so much better!!! The two of us ate until we were bursting... I almost could not breathe lol. The magic of a delicious place is that even two small eaters eat a ton.

Ta-da---- I will prove it is a good restaurant... It is not often that we clear everything like this lol. Of course, the places I post on the blog are genuinely delicious, so you will often see empty plates hahaha.
