Dongtan Yeoul Park Western restaurant, ₩44,000 Set A for two: Paol

I went to Paol, right in front of Dongtan Yeoul Park! Great atmosphere, great food — here's my review of this Dongtan restaurant.

Paol Dongtan Yeoul Park Branch: parking and opening hours

Paol Dongtan Yeoul Park Branch offers 4 hours of free parking in the building's lot. The parking lot is huge, so following the staff's directions helps: Gate C5 → take the elevator to B1 → turn right → exit via Gate C8. This is the shortest route and you won't get lost.

Thanks to the glass walls, you can feel the atmosphere just from the outside! A clean, polished Western restaurant.

Inside Paol: seating layout and baby chairs

The inside of Paol Dongtan Yeoul Park Branch has a slightly dim mood, with small lamps at every table. If that were the only area, the place might feel small, but there's more seating further in.

The seating is nicely divided into separate zones, so even though the restaurant isn't huge, it seemed great for group visits. Recommended as a good spot for gatherings in Dongtan!

They also have baby chairs ready!

The lamps at each table weren't glaring at all and gave the space a warm mood.

If you're coming as a couple, I recommend the set menu! The price value is pretty good, haha. It's listed as Pasta Set ₩39,000 and Steak Set ₩59,000, but there are extra charges depending on the specific dishes you pick, so treat those as reference prices.

They also have a variety of wines available, just so you know!🍷

What comes with Set A at ₩44,000

The set is much better value than ordering items individually.

The complimentary pickles.

The bread we ordered separately. There's no dip served with it, but my husband ordered it because he wanted to dip it in the pasta sauce later, haha. It was tasty on its own too.

I loved that the dishes came out almost at the same time!!

This salad only comes with the set menu, and the fruit on top was really delicious, haha. By the way, the black bits are grapes — I expected olives, so it felt like a gift when I bit in, haha.

How is the spicy blue crab rose pasta?

Paol's spicy crab rose pasta (rose pasta = cream-tomato sauce pasta) has a really striking look with the crab shell on top!

There's a decent amount of crab meat and crab legs, and they're quite large too!

The crab meat was seriously delicious... it's labeled spicy but it wasn't that spicy at all. And the crab aroma wasn't overpowering, just the right amount, so it was so, so good.

I properly bit into and ate the crab legs too!! There wasn't much meat left in the legs (since it was already in the pasta), but the crab broth — or whatever you'd call it — that seeps out is a real treat, so you have to eat it. Though I don't think this would be easy to eat on a first date, haha.

And then my husband's grand plan — dipping bread in the pasta sauce!! It was, as expected, great. If the sauce is delicious, scraping the plate clean is a must.

Is the steak in Paol's steak risotto tender?

The steak risotto in Paol's Set A comes with a thick chunk of steak on top that looks genuinely delicious!!

Steak served on top of risotto or pasta really seems to be well-made these days. Totally worth the money!!

The steak was tender, not chewy at all. It was seasoned quite well, so it wasn't too heavy when eaten with the creamy risotto.

We scraped the plate clean at the end, haha. The only regret was leaving a bit of the rose pasta sauce behind!

Is Paol Dongtan Yeoul Park Branch worth it?

A Dongtan Western restaurant with a great set menu and great taste! I'd recommend it for dates, first meetings, or group gatherings alike. The review event is genuinely great, so make sure to join, haha.
