It's open from 11am to 8:30pm with last order at 8pm, and offers baby chairs, pet-friendly seating, and parking. I stopped by and had a spicy-sweet, refreshing bowl of naengmyeon and king mandu (dumplings) in Gomori.

I went for a light drive to Gomori Naengmyeon Saengbajirak Kalguksu on Gwangneungsumogwon-ro in Pocheon, haha. I'd heard so much buzz about this naengmyeon spot in Gomori that I was secretly looking forward to it.

One thing I really appreciated here is that the owner personally preps all the ingredients every morning, and you can taste that honest, hands-on care. Let me show you this Gwangneung Arboretum favorite — perfect for escaping the busy city and enjoying a delicious bowl of naengmyeon on a drive out.
Parking and what the dining room is like
There's plenty of parking in front of and beside Gomori Naengmyeon Saengbajirak Kalguksu, so I had zero parking stress. A car is essential for an out-of-town outing like this, right? Some places make parking a real hassle, but here the lot was spacious and well kept.
Walking inside, the place gave off a clean, tidy impression, and the tables were spaced generously apart, making for a comfortable meal. The warm wood-tone interior welcomed me the moment I stepped in.
Besides naengmyeon, they also serve fresh clam kalguksu and perilla seed kalguksu, haha.

The warm, savory hot broth served alongside

I'm actually a big fan of the warm broth too. It carries this quiet umami depth that really wakes up your appetite and warms you right up — I slurped this down happily.

Oh! There was a genuinely rich, savory aroma that spread gently, along with a clean, mellow umami flavor that lingered in my mouth. It was so good I just kept sipping it.

Sweet-spicy bibim naengmyeon with juicy king mandu

On this visit, the main dish I ordered at Gomori Naengmyeon Saengbajirak Kalguksu was the bibim naengmyeon. The moment I saw that red sauce, my mouth was already watering — it looked incredibly appetizing.
It came with a side of cold broth too. Pouring the icy, slush-topped cold broth over the bibim naengmyeon and mixing it in was seriously amazing.

I heard the owner boils the broth from scratch herself, and maybe that's why it had such a deep, well-rounded flavor — full of care.

Alongside it, I ordered the thick meat king mandu and kimchi king mandu. They pair so well with naengmyeon that you really have to order them.

The dumpling skins were generously packed with filling, and one bite was completely satisfying and filling.
The meat king mandu had a mellow, savory flavor, while the kimchi king mandu was spicy, tangy, and clean — both were so appealing.
You know how it is when you eat them together with the spicy-sweet sauce of the bibim naengmyeon, right? It was genuinely delicious paired with delicious — a fantastic combination.

The spicy-sweet sauce blended perfectly with the chewy noodles, and the crisp, crunchy cucumber and julienned radish elevated the naengmyeon's flavor even more.

True to its reputation as a Gomori favorite, the red sauce on the bibim naengmyeon is the owner's own special blend. It was spicy and sweet without being harsh — a genuinely delicious naengmyeon sauce.

I love naengmyeon and seek it out year-round regardless of season. It's been a while since I found such a truly delicious naengmyeon place, and I was genuinely happy about it. This is a Gomori naengmyeon favorite I'll be coming back to whenever a craving hits, haha.
