Today I'm bringing you a review of a place I went for Saturday lunch!! I know a lot of people are looking for good restaurants near Pocheon Art Valley, so let me share my review of Eoneu Dal haha.
It's famous as a pasta spot and looked so pretty, so I thought it'd be great for a nice family meal, and off we went hahaha.

We got there around noon on the weekend, and since it's surrounded by rice paddies with only the Eoneu Dal building standing there, the building really stood out haha. Going in, the parking lot was huge but almost full!!!
How long is the weekend lunch wait at Eoneu Dal?
Arriving at noon on Saturday, there were already 4 parties waiting at the CatchTable entrance kiosk, and we actually waited about 30 minutes before being seated. There was a separate waiting area, so we could sit while we waited.

Walking in, I saw the CatchTable kiosk already had about 4 parties ahead of me waiting, and I thought, ah, this must really be a destination restaurant near Pocheon Art Valley — I got so excited!!!!

We waited in the waiting area for almost 30 minutes, but the place looked so pretty that we ended up taking photos and having fun, and the time passed faster than expected so it wasn't boring at all haha.

There were a lot of staff working, and the kitchen looked semi-open, with everyone cooking away busily — I thought, ah, this really is a well-loved restaurant hahaha.

Inside Eoneu Dal: seating and who eats here
There's group seating on one side of the restaurant too, so I thought it would be great for a stylish group gathering or work dinner haha.
There were roughly 15 tables total, and they were all full, with a wide mix of customers — soldiers, couples, families, groups of friends, all sorts of ages and genders hahaha.
What we ordered at Eoneu Dal and what it cost
At Eoneu Dal, you order by scanning a QR code at the table, and we picked two signature dishes plus a handmade gnocchi, three dishes in total.

Once we sat down, the ordering was all through a QR code!! Every dish on the menu looked pretty and delicious, so after a long deliberation we ordered two signature dishes and the handmade gnocchi haha.
- White ragu gnocchi ₩21,000
- Beef tomato pasta ₩20,000
- Garlic shrimp pasta ₩21,000
There were 1 child and 3 adults, and since the portions looked big, we ordered just these three dishes first haha.
The starter bread is salt bread — why we ordered a second plate
The pre-meal bread at Eoneu Dal was warm salt bread, and it was so good we immediately ordered another plate. The water also came infused with herbs and lemon.

When the pre-meal bread came out, the warm salt bread was so delicious ㅠㅠㅠ It was savory, light, and warm, crispy outside and moist inside, with a subtle buttery flavor that was so good we finished a piece each in no time and immediately ordered another plate lolol.
I'd never seen a place serve salt bread as the pre-meal bread before..... it was so good it raised my expectations for the food even further!!!!

The water they gave us also had herbs and lemon in it, and it looked so pretty too... between the atmosphere at Eoneu Dal and the scenery outside, I found myself staring for a while lol.
Garlic shrimp pasta, 21,000 won, served on a bed of minari
Eoneu Dal's garlic shrimp pasta was noted on the menu as slightly spicy, so only the adults ate it. It came topped with zucchini, shrimp, and king oyster mushroom, with minari (water dropwort) layered under the roasted vegetables, as the staff explained.

After a short wait, the food came out fast, with the garlic shrimp pasta first haha. Since it was marked slightly spicy, only the adults ate it, but the colors and plating were so pretty that our whole family gasped the moment it landed on the table!!!

It was so pretty that any photo I took came out great haha. Zucchini, shrimp, and king oyster mushroom were on top, and they explained that minari was layered under the roasted vegetables.
The noodles were neatly coiled off to one side, so it was really convenient to grab them with tongs and portion them out for everyone!!!!

Taking the first bite with high expectations, it tasted like an aglio e olio-style oil pasta, which I love, with minced garlic giving it a garlicky, slightly spicy kick, along with the texture of roasted vegetables and mushrooms and the savory aroma of the shrimp — so good!!!!
Eating it together with the minari underneath added a crisp texture and a fragrant flavor that was totally my style.
The shrimp were also fully cleaned and prepped, so they were easy to eat hahaha.
Beef tomato pasta, 20,000 won, made mild enough for a child
Eoneu Dal's beef tomato pasta was ordered mild so the child could eat it too. It came with thin slices of beef carpaccio over tomato sauce, and the child devoured it, saying it was delicious.

Everyone was devouring the food happily, and right after, the beef tomato pasta and white ragu gnocchi arrived together. We'd ordered the beef tomato pasta mild so the child could eat it, and it came with thin slices of beef carpaccio on top of the tomato sauce — visually gorgeous already ㅠㅠㅠ

We served the child first and they started devouring it happily saying it was delicious lol. I tried it too, and the tomato sauce wasn't too sharp or overly sour, just the right balance of sweet and tangy, with plenty of ground beef mixed in giving it a nice bite, and paired with the tender beef carpaccio it was so delicious ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

The tomato sauce wasn't overpowering at all, so it was mild enough to spoon up on its own, which I really liked haha.
At first I thought there might be too much sauce, but we finished it all in no time......
And since the garlic shrimp pasta is an oil-based pasta, it's naturally lighter in flavor, so it made sense it came out first, followed by the richer tomato pasta and white ragu gnocchi in order — it was great being able to focus on each dish's flavor one at a time!!!!
White ragu gnocchi, 21,000 won: chewy handmade gnocchi
Eoneu Dal's white ragu gnocchi was ordered because it's handmade, and the potato flavor and chewy texture came together with cream and cheese aromas. My mom and I tried it together and both gasped.
I love gnocchi, and handmade gnocchi at that!!!! I figured this had to be delicious, so I ordered it, and it really was haha.

Along with the potato flavor and chewiness, the white ragu sauce seemed to have cheese in it, with the cheese aroma and savory flavor and the smooth taste of the cream, plus the chewy mushrooms — this was so good that my mom and I both gasped after trying it haha.

Since all three dishes tasted so different, there was never a moment we got tired of eating, and we enjoyed everything so much. We used the extra order of pre-meal bread to wipe up the leftover sauce, and by then we were so full we couldn't order anything else... haha.
Are three pastas enough for three adults and one child?
With just 3 plates of pasta at Eoneu Dal plus the extra bread, 1 child and 3 adults ate until we were full. Contrary to my initial worry, we didn't need to order anything more.
The portions were generous enough that even 3 adults ate plenty, the restaurant was pretty, and it won over even my picky mom — a truly perfect and enjoyable meal.

If you're looking for a good restaurant near Pocheon Art Valley, why not give Eoneu Dal a try? If you're visiting on the weekend, there may be a wait, so I'd recommend giving yourself plenty of time haha.
