With the weather getting nicer lately, I’ve been making more and more plans. I’m hopeless with my hands, so I can’t use an eyelash curler and get lash lifts regularly—but I heard there was a place in Seomyeon that does incredibly natural lash extensions, so I went!
It’s Almond Eyelashes (아몬드속눈썹), a beloved spot for lash lifts and extensions in Seomyeon~~ As you’ll see further down, if you’ve always wanted to try lash extensions but held back because they seemed unnatural, you absolutely need to read this closely!!
Almond Eyelashes, right in front of Beomil Station
Almond Eyelashes is right in front of Beomil Station, so it’s super easy to reach by both bus and subway.

Almond Eyelashes specializes exclusively in lashes, so first-timers like me can visit with confidence 👍

The consultation area is the first thing you see when you walk in. Even though it’s a one-person studio, the interior felt surprisingly spacious and bright.

They even have a reassuring cosmetology license, so I could trust them with my precious lashes!!

There’s an interesting chair in the middle; I was told it’s used for semi-permanent treatments.

Lash treatments happen in another small room, and the bedding was so fluffy and kept really clean, haha. I’m quietly quite sensitive about hygiene, but I got the treatment on that cozy bedding and slept like a baby,, haha.
Natural lash extensions I was completely thrilled with
My sad little eyes,, Believe it or not, this is with an eyelash curler + mascara already on,, My lashes lack strength and volume, and after a major lash-extension fail in college, I’ve been someone who only gets regular lash lifts...
I’d always wanted to try natural extensions, but even when I asked for a natural look, so many results screamed, “I HAVE LASH EXTENSIONS!!” I couldn’t bring myself to go for it,,,?
Can you all see it!! 🎆I finally succeededㅠㅠㅠ🎆 Lash-extension pros might think, Isn’t it too subtle? But I specifically asked them to make it natural no matter what, even if it showed less!!
Before the treatment, the owner and I went through my preferences. The goal this time was to make it as natural and low-key as possible, and it was a total success!! I went with lengths of 9, 10, and 11 mm, with two 0.07 mm lashes attached to each natural lash—so effectively 0.14 mm in thickness per lash. (C curl)
I gained confidence this time, so I’ve already made a determined plan for next time: 9, 10, and 10 mm, a little thicker, with a CC curl!!
Aftercare precautions and guidance

They gave me detailed explanations throughout the treatment, including which style we were going for. Afterwards, they also told me how to care for lashes in my style and even gave me a brush—aftercare service that was absolutely perfect!!!!!!
Dongbaekjeon is accepted, too!

The original prices are already easy on the wallet, but because this shop accepts Dongbaekjeon, you can get the treatment for even better value!!

With a result I loved so much and such a meticulous owner, Almond Eyelashes completely got rid of my fear of lash extensions! I absolutely, absolutely recommend it to first-time lash-extension clients like me!!!
