Free hanwoo yukhoe with Naver booking: Hanuso Dwitgogi, Beomil

My favorite beef restaurant in Beomil-dong, after a while — Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch! I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately, so I went to get some restorative nourishment!!

How far is it from Beomil Station?

It's right next to Beomil Station, so it was super easy to get to. It's about a 15-minute walk from our place, so we walked over as a little stroll.

Exterior

My go-to beef restaurant in Beomil-dong, Hanuso Dwitgogi, after a while! It's always packed on weekends, so we tend to go on weekdays.

Hanwoo special cuts for ₩15,000!! The value sets are great too, so you can eat well with the family without breaking the bank.

Interior seating and the room

There were quite a few customers even at this early hour, so I stepped aside a bit to take the photo!! There were lots of clean 4-person tables,

and further inside there's also a room-type seating area that can hold a group! [ Would be great for a company dinner too ]

Outside, there's also a table set up so about 8 people can eat privately for a family meal!

We always get the great-value hanwoo dwitgogi, 3 servings!!

There are set menus too, and they seem popular since you can eat top-grade hanwoo at a great price! Usually when we come, I'm torn between the seafood doenjang stew and the kimchi-mari cold noodles — since I had the doenjang stew last time, I ordered the slightly tangy kimchi-mari cold noodles this time!!

How are the side dishes?

Hanuso Dwitgogi in Beomil-dong really does the side dishes well. There are lots of the pickled jjangajji I love,

and seaweed soup comes as a standard side too!!

The green onion salad and tangy dongchimi broth also come out, which seem to help clear the palate whenever it gets a little heavy.

And uniquely, Hanuso Dwitgogi in Beomil-dong grills the meat using corn fuel instead of charcoal briquettes, which is so interesting haha.

Free hanwoo yukhoe with a Naver reservation

And here's the thing — if you book through Naver reservation, you get one free serving of hanwoo yukhoe (raw beef)!! You absolutely have to make a Naver reservation before visiting!!

The portion is generous, and the hanwoo yukhoe is nutty and tender — genuinely delicious. I was trying not to drink this time, but it's hard to pass up soju with hanwoo yukhoe, so we ended up ordering Jinro again haha haha.

Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch takes real pride in using top-grade hanwoo!! Maybe that's why we could eat it with such peace of mind.

A table full of side dishes!!

Here comes the hanwoo dwitgogi with amazing marbling, 3 servings!! Every time we order hanwoo dwitgogi, the cuts that come out are different! Today it looked like it was skirt steak and short rib area!!

My favorite, skirt steak (anchangsal)... soft yet chewy, genuinely delicious [ Totally recommend!! ]

I used to work part-time at a beef restaurant, so when it comes to grilling beef, I never hand the tongs to my boyfriend haha haha. Even grilled casually, the beef itself is so good it just slides right down. Nothing fishy or tough about it at all.

Kimchi-mari cold noodles

In summer, cool kimchi-mari cold noodles are a must!! The portion looks like enough for two, and eating the tangy kimchi with the broth is basically a full meal on its own!!

The seafood doenjang stew is good too, but the kimchi-mari cold noodles were so good today that I felt like I'd ordered well.

A drink on the way out

A thoughtful bit of service from Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch in Beomil-dong!! As fitting for a hot summer, they handed out a cold drink on the way out after we finished eating! There was Let's-be coffee, orange juice, and sikhye — we each grabbed one!! It was kept in ice water, so it was really refreshing!

Hanuso Dwitgogi is always great because we can eat good, affordable hanwoo every time we go. The staff are young but so, so friendly — my boyfriend and I always end up saying how nice it is that they're so kind, every single time we go.
