If you're looking for a relaxed place to eat pork in Gwangalli, how about Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui, known as a Gwangalli restaurant that grills the meat for you?
There are days when you want pork but really don't feel like grilling it yourself, right? I wanted to introduce this place for exactly those days.
Where is Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui, and where do you park?
Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui is on the 1st floor of 71 Gwangnam-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan. It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Geumnyeonsan Station, so getting there by public transit is easy.

It's also fairly close to Gwangalli Beach, making it a good Gwangalli restaurant to stop into after a walk by the sea.

There are several paid parking lots nearby, so visiting by car wasn't a hassle either.
Inside Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui: mood and seating
Walking inside, the clean, well-organized interior stood out right away.
There were plenty of tables and the space felt spacious, so it looked good for gatherings with friends or as a spot for a Gwangalli work dinner.
Group seating was available and baby chairs were on hand too, so it looked comfortable for families to visit.
What comes in the Jukrim Handon set?
Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui serves both domestic Korean pork and Iberico special cuts.

That day, we ordered one Jukrim Handon set and a rice bowl.

The Jukrim Handon set comes with 255g of pork belly, 200g of pork neck, and one soybean stew, so

it made for a filling meal without having to agonize over ordering anything else.
Side dishes, including green onion kimchi
The basic side dishes were set out quickly as soon as we ordered.

Bean sprout salad, baek kimchi (white kimchi), green onion kimchi, pickles and other side dishes came out neat and clean.

Staff grill the pork over Korean charcoal
Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui is a Gwangalli restaurant where staff grill the meat for you from start to finish.

Thick pork neck is a cut that's hard to cook evenly through the middle if you grill it yourself, but

the staff grilled it to a nice golden brown, so all we had to do was wait comfortably and eat.
At Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui, they say they use domestic Korean charcoal to grill the meat.

Thanks to the charcoal grilling, there was a subtle smoky aroma added that seemed to bring out the meat's natural flavor even more.

I think being able to enjoy the meal this comfortably is the biggest advantage of a Gwangalli restaurant that grills for you.
Not having to worry about the grilling also meant we could focus on chatting with each other and eat at a relaxed pace, which was nice.
How the 255g pork belly and 200g pork neck tasted
Taking a bite of the pork belly, the outside was golden brown and the inside was cooked moist and just right.
True to Gwangalli-style pork belly, the ratio of fat to lean meat was well balanced, giving a clear, savory flavor.

The pork neck had a milder taste than the belly, so alternating between the two meant we never got tired of it and enjoyed it to the end.

It was good eaten with the basic salt and side dishes, and also worked well with a small dab of wasabi for a clean finish.
Eating it with the green onion kimchi cut through the richness, and I kept reaching for that combination.
Finishing with rice and soybean stew
After eating a good amount of meat, we added a rice bowl and finished off with the soybean stew included in the set.
Mixing a bit of rice into the soybean stew broth paired well with the meat and felt easy on the stomach.
Having rice along with the meat, rather than just meat alone, made the meal feel properly complete.
Is Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui worth a visit in Gwangalli?
Overall, Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui was a Gwangalli pork restaurant where I could eat comfortably since staff grilled the meat directly.
Not having to worry about the grilling made it easy to focus on conversation, and the quality of the meat was satisfying too. Being near Gwangalli Beach makes it accessible, and it also seemed like a decent space for group gatherings.
It was easy to get to by subway and there was parking nearby, so it wasn't a hard place to find.
If you're looking for a Gwangalli restaurant that grills the meat for you, Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui could be a good choice to try at least once.
