Ordering seasoned beef tartare Jeonju bibimbap and clam doenjang jjageuli

We ordered the seasoned beef tartare Jeonju bibimbap and the clam doenjang jjageuli.

Seasoned beef tartare Jeonju bibimbap
It came out neatly arranged on a wooden tray with three side dishes, steamed egg, and the bibimbap.
The basic sides were kimchi, pickled radish, and dried radish strips — the kimchi in particular was crisp and well-fermented, and paired really well with the bibimbap.

The seasoned beef tartare bibimbap~ with colorful vegetables, red-tinted seasoned beef tartare, and a soft-boiled egg on top, it honestly looked like a blooming flower.
The beef tartare, coated in appetizing seasoning, was piled on generously too.
The egg, mushrooms, carrots, and other vegetables each had vivid, fresh-looking color.

Popping the yolk and mixing everything together~

One bite in and the spicy-sweet seasoning is well soaked in, with a chewy texture and an explosion of savory flavor. Add the mill-pressed sesame oil when mixing and it brings out even more richness and nuttiness — truly special. Sinkkulkkul fell hard for this flavor and just kept eating 🌸

Pairing the good rice with the three side dishes, Sinkkulkkul finished it all without a single boring bite.

The steamed egg came in a big bowl, looking hearty and rich even just to look at.
The moment it hits your mouth, it melts away with a soft, moist texture — really excellent.
Clam doenjang jjageuli
The jjageuli (stew) arrived warm and hearty on a tray, with that comforting, homemade feel.
It came in a wide, heavy bowl with a thick, generous mix of ingredients in a not-too-watery broth. The color of the broth looked just like homemade doenjang, and it got Sinkkulkkul's mouth watering instantly. The rice to go with the jjageuli also arrived warm with a soft-boiled egg on top.
It wasn't just clams — zucchini, mushrooms, and tofu were all packed in generously too.

Mixing in the broth and ingredients with a bit of sesame oil~ the savory doenjang and the umami of the clams come through together for a truly standout flavor. Sinkkulkkul was so moved that every last bite was well spent 💕 I know I'll be craving this again soon and coming back.

Sinkkulkkul wrapped up the meal today with a sweet yakgwa (honey cookie)~ oink oink
