I stopped by Hangsangcharim Kodari Myeongga Ruwon City for an easy, clean lunch spot in Gajeong-dong.

Parking at Ruwon City Kodari Myeongga was in the building's own lot, and the entry slope was nice and wide, which made it easy. There was plenty of space too, and the store was right there at the entrance connected to the parking lot. I personally prefer wide entry/exit ramps, so this was a plus.

What is the wide hall, window seating and self-serve bar like?
Hangsangcharim Kodari Myeongga Ruwon City Branch has a spacious, pleasant atmosphere, good for family gatherings. It also seems like a good option for office workers around Gajeong Station looking for a casual lunch spot in Ruwon City. The big windows made the window seats feel especially comfortable.

The self-serve bar was also very tidy.

Lunch banchan at Hangsangcharim: how does it taste?
I tried it as a light lunch, and I liked that the banchan (side dishes) weren't too strongly seasoned. With sides like japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), it felt like a Korean restaurant with a hanjeongsik (traditional set meal) touch. It seems like a good, clean Korean restaurant in Ruwon City to visit when you're craving Korean food, or for a casual lunch with your parents.

Was the pot rice good for crispy scorched rice?
The pot rice must be well made, because it was still boiling away by the time it reached the table, and the scorched rice (nurungji) turned out really well. It was delicious. If you visit Kodari Myeongga, I'd recommend trying the pot rice.

Spicy braised pollock meal kit to take home
They also had a spicy pollock stew meal kit for sale. Since it's a good season for camping, this could be worth trying for camping meal kits or for anyone who likes having side dishes at home.
