Tequila highball and 400g pork ribs at Cheongna Mexican spot Taco Dot
In short
Taco Dot Cheongna Branch is a Mexican restaurant near Cheongna High School in Seohae, Incheon. After work we ordered draft beer and a tequila highball with Nashville hot chicken tacos and the 400g barbecue pork ribs (23,900 won), whose bones were far too big to count as a side — one rib alone was filling. With baby chairs and a separate kids' meal, Taco Dot Cheongna Branch suits both a visit with a baby and a beer after work.

Draft beer and a tequila highball after work
Since I came after work, I ordered a draft beer. To lean into the Mexican vibe, I also tried a tequila highball.

🌮🍟🍖🥗🍺 The food I ordered came out soon after {{{(>_<)}}}

My unbeaten pick: the Nashville hot chicken taco
My unshakeable go-to, the Nashville hot chicken taco. It was the tastiest thing I had on my last visit to Taco Dot, so I ordered it again without any hesitation.

Tacos taste best eaten by hand, so I asked for plastic gloves and dug in. The chicken was crispy and a bit spicy, and it went really well with the cabbage coleslaw on top. There's Tabasco sauce at the table, so you can drizzle it on for extra heat if you like.

400g barbecue pork ribs: the bones are genuinely huge
I ordered the BBQ pork ribs (400g, ₩23,900) because I was craving some real meat. Honestly, this visit wasn't so much about the tacos — I really came for the ribs. Before coming, I looked up other blog posts and saw only 4 bones in the photos, so I ordered it expecting something like a light side dish, but the bone size was massive!

The BBQ sauce that comes with it has a nice fruity sweetness. The meat was super tender and, more than anything, the portion was huge. The bones themselves are genuinely enormous. One single rib bone was already filling. After finishing it, I was almost scared to pick up the second one.

But it was so good I ended up cleaning my plate. Look how clean the bone is once all the meat's off! The ribs were so tender that the meat practically fell off the bone.

The fries underneath were tasty too.
