Yeongjong family Korean restaurant with self-bar: 300°C Seafood Galbi
In short
300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch is a Korean restaurant on Marisan-ro in Yeongjong-gu, Incheon, specializing in braised seafood back ribs and cuttlefish. Arriving with kids before 6 p.m. meant no wait, and the couple set (cuttlefish, half-and-half pajeon, and seafood kalguksu) at 49,000 won was cleared to the last bite, including the self-bar acorn jelly with its sauce and the cool seafood kalguksu broth. Because the spice level can be adjusted, 300°C Seafood Galbi works well for a family meal with young children.

"Yeongjong Korean food" — 300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch
300°C Seafood Galbi in Yeongjong: parking and the dining hall

I went to 300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch, famous as a Korean food spot in Yeongjong. Parking was easy since there's a lot right in front of the restaurant! There was plenty of space beyond what's shown in the photo, so keep that in mind.

We try to go for an early dinner before 6pm whenever we can, because going just a little early means no wait and a comfortable meal. Haha. The hall was spacious and pleasant. There was also a separate room for group parties.

What's on the self-bar? The acorn jelly sauce steals the show
The self-bar sits right in the middle of the restaurant, with radish pickle, baek-kimchi (white kimchi), acorn jelly, bean sprouts, kimchi, and seaweed stem laid out. I kept going back for more acorn jelly before the main dish even arrived... and honestly, more than the jelly itself, that sauce on top! It was so good, haha.
Couple set for 2 reviewed: cuttlefish, half-and-half pajeon and seafood kalguksu

I thought about ordering the signature seafood ribs, but since we'd had meat the night before and it might be a bit spicy for the kids, we went with the couple set that includes cuttlefish instead!! Note that you can adjust the spice level when ordering the seafood ribs though. When I asked later, they said the mild version is fine even for kids, so for a moment I considered switching to the ribs... but ended up sticking with cuttlefish, haha.
Once you order, the side dishes are set out first. After that, you just refill from the self-bar. The bean sprouts were tasty on their own, but even better mixed into the cuttlefish stir-fry — great combo!

The stir-fried cuttlefish came generously portioned, packed with onion and mushroom, all stir-fried in a sweet-spicy sauce — wow, I demolished an entire bowl of rice with it. I ate about half, then mixed the rest with the bean sprout seasoning and kept going. The cuttlefish pieces were big with great texture, and the portion was generous, so it was a really satisfying meal. It wasn't too spicy either, so our kids happily ate small portions too.

The broth has clams in it, and once it boils, they take the clams out and add the noodles — maybe because of the seafood broth, but the soup was genuinely refreshing and delicious. Our kids finished the kalguksu and then mixed rice into that seafood broth for seconds.

This half-and-half pizza-pancake! Our kids were full of curiosity since they'd never seen anything like it before — think of it as half pajeon (scallion pancake), half cheese pizza. The cheese stretched satisfyingly too, so it was tasty and fun to eat, haha.
