In short

Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch is an all-you-can-eat cypress-steam and shabu-shabu restaurant in Haneul New Town on Yeongjong Island, Incheon. We stopped in with our child on the way to Eulwangni Beach and ordered the lunch set with katsuo (default) and spicy mushroom broths at 17,900 won, plus 7,900 won for a preschooler, working through unlimited beef, rice-paper rolls and the self-serve bar's tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and pasta before finishing with ramen noodles. Table set with cypress steam and shabu-shabu at Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch

On a day off, my kid and I went to Eulwangni Beach. I want to introduce a great spot we stopped at on the way there — Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch, a Yeongjong, Incheon shabu-shabu place!! People around me had mentioned Pyeonbaek Hoegwan a lot, so this time we finally went 😊 It's an all-you-can-eat cypress steam and shabu-shabu spot. Plus the beef is unlimited too, so you can eat without worrying about the price!!! Let me introduce it in detail~~

Where is Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch, and where do you park?

Business hours and parking information at Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch

Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch is also famous as a Haneul New Town restaurant! And you can park right at the building, with 2 hours of parking support~~

Seating and the playroom at Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch

There can be a wait on weekends. There's a waiting area set up out front ^^ Once we got inside, there was plenty of seating ready~ The staff were extremely friendly and helpful ^^ Seating ranges from 4-person tables to group seating. It's great for a family meal out too ^^

And Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Main Branch also has a playroom. It's such a great place to visit with a kid! The menu is stuff kids love to eat too... and with a play area ready as well, it's honestly the best restaurant hahaha!!!

What we ordered: lunch 17,900 won, preschooler 7,900 won

Refill bowls and sauce ready on the table before ordering

You can order right at the table! We went with katsuo (default) + spicy mushroom broth for two, ₩17,900, plus ₩7,900 for the preschooler. Order complete. Lunch is available until 3pm. If you go for dinner, it's ₩20,900 ^^ Refill bowls and sauce are already set up on the table! Having the sauce right there was really convenient.

Cypress steam pot set piled high with meat

Once you order, they bring out the cypress steam pot first! It's really packed with meat~ The cypress steam is also all-you-can-eat, so you can keep going ^^

Table guide showing how to eat the dish

There's a guide on the table for how to eat it deliciously, so check that out if you like! In the meantime, I headed to the self-serve bar ^^ hahaha

Self-serve bar with tteokbokki and pasta, plus unlimited beef

First off, unlimited beef was just so good! You can eat as much as you want without worrying ^^ ... and there were also rice-paper roll ingredients and shabu-shabu ingredients!

Soup, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), pasta! Plus bread, fries and other food — it was great to have so many options~~

I brought back pasta and tteokbokki to eat! The pasta was tasty and the tteokbokki tasted just like the ones from a street market!! So good hahaha

Cypress-steamed beef and rice-paper rolls: what our child ate most

I brought back rice-paper roll ingredients to eat with the cypress steam!

Meanwhile the cypress steam finished cooking~~ Ahh~~ Doesn't it look so delicious?? It really is so good ㅠㅠㅠ hahaha

Finished cypress steam alongside rice-paper roll ingredients

The meat is tasty just dipped in the sauce plain, and if you make rice-paper rolls with it, it just keeps going in endlessly haha. I love the cypress steam so much ㅠㅠㅠ hahaha

My husband and kid ate really well too. My kid eats shabu-shabu fine, but likes the cypress steam even more 💕

Spicy mushroom broth shabu-shabu, glass noodles and a ramen finish

After finishing the cypress steam, we moved on to shabu-shabu~! They pack the shabu-shabu with beef too. Unlimited beef is so great ❤️

I brought over some glass noodles too, which I love. Ate them so happily. The spicy broth is tasty too — it's not that spicy, actually~

Ramen noodles added as the finishing touch

After finishing everything, they added ramen noodles for us too. The noodles were really delicious haha. I've become a ramen-noodle convert — I put ramen noodles in instead of kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) now haha. Before heading to Eulwangni Beach... we filled up nice and full.

I was so full I couldn't even manage the porridge haha. After eating, my husband and kid went to the playroom to play a bit.

The route from Pyeonbaek Hoegwan to Eulwangni Beach

And then we arrived at Eulwangni Beach! We ate well at Pyeonbaek Hoegwan, then had a great time playing in the sand at the beach~ It's a convenient stop on the way there! There's honestly not much to eat right at Eulwangni Beach, so I made sure to eat beforehand!!
