Today I'm introducing Myeonsikdang Jiwel City, a spot I found while looking for lunch near Jiwel City. I'd especially recommend it to anyone who loves noodle dishes.
Myeonsikdang Jiwel City hours and where to park
- Hours: Daily 10:30-21:30, last order 20:50
- Parking: 2 hours free at LK Triplex parking lot

Here's the outside of Myeonsikdang Jiwel City. The exterior had a clean, modern feel. Big menu boards and food photos are posted right at the entrance, so you can see at a glance what's on offer. Tonkotsu ramen, mala ramen, and katsu dishes were especially highlighted, and the layout felt easy to walk into even alone.

Inside Myeonsikdang: tablet ordering and bar seats for solo diners
Here's the inside of Myeonsikdang Jiwel City. The interior stood out for being bright and tidy. Every table has a tablet ordering system, so it's easy to browse and order, and there's also a bar table by the window where I could eat comfortably alone without feeling self-conscious. Throughout the restaurant there were posters for events and new menu items too, which were handy for deciding what to order.

Mozza cheese katsu with mini cold soba set
The mozza cheese katsu is crispy on the outside, with cheese that stretches out endlessly on the inside — looks incredibly appetizing. It pairs well with the tonkatsu sauce, and comes with rice and salad, making it a solid full meal on its own. And the mini cold soba served alongside it was a great combo too!

Tonkotsu ramen with fire-flavor mini butadon set
A basic order, but never a boring one! The rich tonkotsu broth comes topped with grilled chashu, a soft-boiled egg, bean sprouts, and green onion. The savory, smooth broth really stood out, and the chashu had just the right hint of char-grilled flavor to deepen the savoriness. It finishes clean without any greasiness — a flavor pretty much anyone would like! The fire-flavor mini butadon served alongside was also excellent.
Is Myeonsikdang Jiwel City worth it for lunch?
- Taste: rich, well-balanced ramen broth, very satisfying
- Atmosphere: clean and convenient enough for solo dining, group meals, or family visits
- Service: tablet ordering, fast serving, tidy restaurant upkeep
I'd especially recommend this place to anyone who loves noodle dishes or is looking for a light but filling meal around Jiwel City.
👉🏻My rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)! Next time I'd like to try other menu items too.
