I've been eating nothing but heavy, greasy food lately and my stomach was feeling off, so I went to PARENTS Coffee to eat something healthier. The coffee and salads were so good that this is one of my favorite spots in Jung-gu, Busan, and I really wanted to introduce it to you 🤍
Where is PARENTS Coffee & Salad Jungang-dong Branch?
PARENTS Coffee is close to Jungang-dong, and since there are a lot of offices nearby, it seemed to get a lot of office workers haha. It's also not too far from Nampo-dong or Busan Station, so anyone watching their diet can stop by without much hassle — a great Jung-gu, Busan spot.

Inside PARENTS Coffee & Salad: is it good for eating alone?
The interior has a strong red accent, but it still has that comfortable, cafe-like feel where you can just settle in ☆
There are tons of 2-seat and 4-seat tables inside, so it's perfect whether you're eating alone or looking for a spot for a group gathering ~!
It's quiet enough that you can eat comfortably by yourself without feeling self-conscious, so it's great for solo dining too.
Overall the store was big, which I liked, and there seemed to be more takeout and delivery customers than people eating in the dining area ~!!

PARENTS Coffee & Salad Jungang-dong Branch isn't just a place selling salads in Jung-gu, Busan — they also sell poke, pasta salad, wraps, burritos, and more, so there were plenty of options :)
There were menu boards all around, which made it easy to pick, and you could add extra sauces or toppings, so I liked being able to order to my taste haha.
There were also lots of drinks like coffee, fruit juice, and smoothies, so it felt like a fine place to stop by just for a coffee, not necessarily a full meal haha.
They also just added a warm salad as a new menu item — it looked interesting so I took a photo, planning to try it next time!

What I ended up ordering was

A spread that would hold its own as a brunch ~~ It looks like a lot, but since it's all healthy food, it's a diet-friendly meal you can eat even at dinner without any guilt.
I also ordered coffee to go with it, and since it was takeout, they thoughtfully wrapped the cups once more in plastic wrap for the packaging.
Whole shrimp wrap sandwich: how much shrimp is inside?
If you like shrimp, the whole shrimp wrap sandwich is a must-order..🫶🏻 It wasn't just 1-2 plump shrimp thrown in — there were about 5 in there, generously, so the texture was really substantial.
The tortilla wrap itself was so chewy and springy, and it went really well with everything packed inside.
The bouncy texture of the shrimp popping up throughout was so good, and the fullness was incredible for something that's supposed to be a diet food!
Crispy chicken wrap sandwich
Even before taking a bite of the crispy chicken wrap sandwich, you could see the crispy chicken packed in generously.
The crunchy chicken came with all sorts of vegetables packed in, and one bite and your taste buds just go pop 〰️
The filling was so plump and hearty that every single bite let me experience several different textures and flavors at once. The dressing had a clean taste too, which perked up the whole thing and made it feel light to eat.
Chicken tenders (and the missing sauce)
Chicken tenders usually come with a sauce, but I guess the staff member was busy because there was no sauce this time. But the fried coating itself was salty and crispy, so it was really delicious even without sauce!
Even after some time had passed, they were still crunchy and well-fried, with just the right amount of saltiness — perfect to pair with a light salad when that alone feels like it's not quite enough.

PARENTS Coffee is great to enjoy anytime, whether at home or at the office, from breakfast to lunch to dinner! There are so many tasty, healthy menu items that it's a Jung-gu, Busan spot I want to keep coming back to and try everything on the menu — if you're watching your diet, definitely pay a visit '◡'
