Today I was out having fun exploring Jeju and ended up at Seobiu, a pork cutlet restaurant near Seongsan Ilchulbong — here's my review!
I was craving crispy pork cutlet and hot udon, something filling, and while looking for a place I found one with a serious cheese waterfall!

What's the vibe at Seongsan Seobiu Udon Donkatsu like?
The entrance is clean and pretty, so it draws you right in?! Decorated in wood tones, it felt like stepping into a little Japanese restaurant haha.
The tables and chairs were neatly arranged, and the kitchen was open-plan, so the whole place had a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.

How about parking?
During lunch hours, 11:30–13:30, roadside parking is available right in front of the restaurant! Park comfortably out front and go smash some delicious pork cutlet@

What especially caught my eye was the wall completely filled with figures ~ from One Piece to Crayon Shin-chan, all kinds of character figures were on display, and it was fun looking at each one while waiting@

Self-serve bar and how to order
The pork cutlet comes pre-sliced, but if you need a knife, scissors, or anything else, just grab it from the self-serve bar! Comes easy ~ and the broth is served along with your meal haha.

You can order easily through the tablet at the table by just browsing the menu! There's a small description under each item, so it's easy to see everything at a glance ~

SNS receipt review event
A Jeju trip pork cutlet spot near Seongsan Ilchulbong ★ SNS receipt review event ★ If you leave a receipt review with a nice photo, you can get a free fried tofu rice ball or a drink!

The fried tofu rice ball was completely plump, too good a receipt review event to pass up haha. The rice ball is so solid it'd be nice to come with your kid and join the event ~

What we ordered and the prices
- Cheese pork cutlet ₩15,000
- Fried side with cold udon set ₩13,000 (fried side + cold udon + fried tofu rice ball)
We added a fried side dish too, and it was so crispy and delicious :) If you're visiting with a group, ordering one fried side to share would be great ~

Cheese pork cutlet — a real cheese waterfall
The star of today's meal, overwhelming from the very first look. The cheese pork cutlet! It came out on a huge plate with the cutlet, rice, and cheese piled on generously — so intense that I still remember it clearly haha.

When I picked up a piece and took a bite, that's when the real highlight started. The cheese stretched sooooo far~~~~!@ The crispy fried cutlet was soft and savory, and with the cheese on top it was total excitement :)

Fried side with cold udon set
The cold udon set we ordered alongside the cutlet was truth itself! Plump udon noodles came out topped with dried seaweed flakes, chopped green onion, crispy fried bits, grated radish, and wasabi — a perfectly cool way to spend a scorching midsummer day haha.

It was really hot while traveling around Jeju, but the heat completely vanished lol. The menu items are also things kids would love, so it seems like a great stop on a family trip ~

What does it taste like with curry sauce added?
I also added curry sauce, and personally, I thought curry went really well with the cheese pork cutlet! Enjoy the pork cutlet on its own first, then dip it lightly in curry — you get to experience a whole different flavor haha.
Especially with the savoriness of the cheese combined with the distinct aroma of the curry, it feels like eating a completely different dish ~.~

Pork cutlet near Seongsan Ilchulbong — to sum up
If you're looking for a pork cutlet spot near Seongsan Ilchulbong during your Jeju trip, how about remembering Seobiu?! A pork cutlet spot that grabbed my full attention the moment I lifted a piece and the cheese stretched out long!
I'd love to recommend it as a great pork cutlet spot to enjoy with your kids 💛
