Family dinner with chicken pilaf and Yosigo photos: Two Find Peter

I'm Rang, a working mom and nurse. Here's my review of Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch, where I went for some famous Beomgye pasta.

Location and parking

It's located at 15 Pyeongchon-daero 217beon-gil, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, on the 5th floor of Park Avenue L. It's on Beomgye Rodeo Street, straight ahead from Exit 3 of Beomgye Station toward Pyeongchon Central Park. (5th floor of the building with Yeokjeon Grandma Beer and Kkwakchan Jokbal, elevator available)

For parking, you can use the mechanical self-parking in the building (free) or a nearby public parking lot.

How does the waitlist work

You can register for the waitlist through CatchTable! The restaurant is pretty large, so the wait moved quickly. You can browse the menu while waiting, too. It's also an Onnuri Gift Certificate merchant.

On my way out I noticed you can also order through delivery apps! Noting that down for a home party sometime — Two Find Peter delivery!

Atmosphere and seating

While waiting inside, I could see the indoor seating and wondered if that was all there was — but the place turned out to be at least three times bigger than what was visible, a genuinely large restaurant.

Deeper inside there were three partitions made of glass tile walls, creating a stylish space perfectly suited to small groups of 2–4.

I came with my husband and our child. There were baby chairs and children's tableware available, so it wasn't a no-kids-zone — it was actually kid-friendly — but the atmosphere was also perfect for a date!

You order via tablet at the table and pay on your way out.

Yosigo photos on one side of the restaurant

Two Find Peter apparently started from a journey to find a friend named Peter met during a working holiday. As if searching for a friend met while traveling, one side of the restaurant was filled with travel photos that I personally loved.

These are photos by Yosigo, a Spanish photographer popular in Korea, who's even done a clothing brand collaboration here.

I remember being instantly smitten when I saw his exhibition in Yongsan about ten years ago, so seeing his work here was a bit thrilling.

There are men's and women's restrooms on either side near the entrance. So even if you're on a blind date, the restrooms aren't right next to each other — no awkwardness there.

How was the food

Warm bread rolls come out per person before the meal. They even gave one to my baby — warm morning rolls.

Can you tell from the photo? Dim overall lighting, glass tile walls, and pretty table lamps — this has to be one of Beomgye's date spots! The atmosphere is just so good.

We enjoyed this lovely atmosphere along with our lovable, uncontrollable toddler. Thankfully all the kids' tableware was plastic!

Carbonara ₩16,000

When you come to an Italian restaurant with a kid, carbonara is a must-order — ₩16,000. Reasonably priced and tasty, our baby ate half the bowl! My husband and I split the rest.

Sous-vide pork neck steak ₩20,000

Sous-vide pork neck steak ₩20,000. A meal always needs protein, right? A hunk of pork neck, wedge potatoes, and king oyster mushrooms — all for ₩20,000, basically the price of just the meat alone?!

Chicken pilaf ₩12,000

Chicken pilaf ₩12,000. The spicy chicken pilaf was delicious with the accompanying sauce and just as good on its own. The portion was pretty generous too!

Sauce came with every dish, but everything was already well-seasoned so we didn't use much of it! Dishes this carefully made, all under ₩20,000! On top of that, great atmosphere and friendly staff — a really excellent place.

Look at the carbonara loaded with ingredients, along with the other dishes.

The pork neck steak doesn't even look like pork neck — it looks like sirloin, but when you chew it, it's tender and chewy, not tough at all.

The wedge potatoes were beautifully roasted too. The sauce with salt and wasabi was a perfect match!

I now understand why young couples who look like they're on a blind date order three dishes and chat away here.

Our family enjoyed the delicious food but didn't quite get to soak in the space, still — the meal alone was excellent.
