It's a quiet, intimate space where it's just the two of you, which makes it hard to beat as a date spot. Beyond the room, the lighting throughout is soft and moody in the best way, which somehow deepens the conversation too. If you're with someone special, I'd recommend aiming for the 2nd floor or a private room.

What the yakitori and skewers taste like at Nani Byeolgwan

Ordering at Nani Byeolgwan Yeongdeungpo Branch is simple: scan the QR code on the table to check the menu, then press the bell. This place is famous as a yakitori spot in Yeongdeungpo, and the chicken skewers and pork belly and scallion skewers are truly a work of art.

Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside — one bite of a skewer paired with cold draft beer was pure bliss. We also added the stir-fried pork with bean sprouts, and I don't think you'll easily find another Yeongdeungpo Station izakaya serving side dishes this tasty.

Is Nani Byeolgwan worth going back to?

Even though it was our first visit, the staff were kind and the food and atmosphere were both perfect, so we had a really happy time. Next time I'd like to come back with close friends and work through more of the menu one item at a time — I'd definitely recommend it, with a strong intention to return.
